A really lovely and secluded place to stay.
A really lovely and secluded place to stay. A comfortable shepherds hut where you feel that you are really in the New forest. Very well thought out and I had everything that I needed both for comfort, for cooking and for relaxing. Details of lovely local walks - both towards Ringwood and also towards Salisbury in the other direction. There is a lovely walk along what was once the railway line between Ringwood and Salisbury with plenty of benches to sit, relax and enjoy the views. I found everyone to be really friendly - everyone says Hello! I will definitely be going again - and for a longer stay!!

We sadly chose the wrong room and if we stayed again would choose a superior room or one of the pods in the garden. All the facilities were very good especially for dogs who even had a full size bath with hot water outside to wash the mud off, dog coats to borrow, tennis balls to play with an available chuckit and an enormous dog bed in the restaurant. Staff and service were excellent and property was very pretty with loads of well kept outside space. Very peaceful just birds singing beautifully.

We all had an amazing time at the Barn - the location was great with plenty to do on the grounds including zip wire, fishing, paddle boarding and helping with the horses which the kids absolutely loved! Everyone we met with so welcoming
We visited the local towns of Burley, Brokenhurst and Lyndhurst - everywhere was within 20 min drive (Burley closest town 10 mins down the road) all worth a visit

The town has shops which would suit everybody and lots of good charity shops. The choose of pubs and tea rooms are quite good in Ringwood and the prices are reasonable. The bus station is in the town and buses go to local seaside places and tourist areas.

In October quiet. Those local residents we met were friendly and even went out of their way to walk with us on one occasion to show us some specific sites of interest.

Easy to navigate around ringwood , everything was quite close together so was easy to get to everywhere, people were friendly and helpful , only thing I did not like was the very narrow lanes when you are not used to them .

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. There was milk and cake waiting for us which was lovely and appreciated, along with biscuits/dog biscuits and tea/coffee/sugar which was useful. Fresh flowers in the property was a nice touch. The property is in an excellent location for Ringwood, the New Forest and Dorest. The dog friendly outside space and car parking on site was great. The property was warm and cozy and perfect to return to after a day out walking.

The interiors were gorgeous at this boutique hotel and had all the quirkiness including an old school style radio which was on when we got into our room. Tea and coffee were specially selected and locally sourced, the heating was on when we got there so the room was lovely and warm. The views into the new forest were just stunning too. We were greated at the car park by some stunning wild horses!
Highly recommend!!

Mark & Sabine were so lovely and welcoming - the BnB is exceptionally clean, room quality was fantastic and the breakfast was one of the best I've had! Couldn't be happier with our stay and will definitely be back for some more New Forest exploration!
