I have a natural love for Wimborne having been born there...
I have a natural love for Wimborne having been born there and lived locally for 20 years. The town has lovely old buildings and a good number of shops. It has always been blessed with numerous pubs but now also has many coffee shops with outside seating areas.

It's particularly good at the annual folk festival in June,...
It's particularly good at the annual folk festival in June, but otherwise a charming town to visit and wander about. Plenty of pubs and places to eat. Don't forget the art-deco Tivoli Theatre, or the model village (a re-creation of Wimborne in minature)..

Lovely shops.
Lovely shops. People were so very friendly and chatted to many as we had our coffee. Wonderful Minster and museum. Wimborne has its own little theatre too.
I am biased though, being born and bred in Dorset. Good to be back, it's a fabulous place,

Beautiful old building, lots to see but we highly recommend going to see the chained library here. It's a small room where a member of the Minster explains in great detail about the library etc, just fascinating stuff.

The hotel is very quiet and very convenient.
The hotel is very quiet and very convenient. You have to walk to a restaurant for your meals, but I didn't mind that.
Bed was comfortable. I had an accessible bathroom and I don't care for that...water from the shower gets all over the floor and it's slippery...and cold!

Such a great property, I stayed for work purposes in Wimborne. Has everything you need and very clean. I love staying here this is my second time at the property and won’t be my last.

The hotel is well located with good size room and comfortable bed. Parking is off site but Council car park close by. Breakfast was fine.
