Great restaurant in the hotel. Room - very clean.

This is a comfortable period house in a great location that has been tastefully modernised with high quality fixtures and fittings. It was quiet and the breakfast was excellent.

Located in Wimborne Minster, The Drovers Inn features a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi. Guest rooms in the inn are equipped with an electric tea pot. A truly rural position and lots of country sounds. The breakfast selection was good giving you a choice of a variety of options.
Set in Cranborne Wimborne Minster, Chaseborough farm provides free WiFi. Guests can make use of a garden. All units in the bed and breakfast are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Lovely cottage beautiful location , excellent hosts , very quiet, close enough to nearest village , highly recommend
We were doing the Stour Valley Walk. Beautiful scenery and Wimborne is very pretty. We ate at the Fox, Canford Bottom, which was tasty. We would recommend Long John fish and chips did a deal of two small fish and large chips for £10
Lots to see and do - favourite pub The Taphouse, Favourite Restaurant was Renoufs. A trip to Kingston Lacey National Trust property recommended. I would avoid staying anywhere near the Green Man pub as was very noisy until late in the night and made our stay at The Minster Arms very unrestful. However it was not the Minster Arms fault that there were extended Jubilee celebrations that weekend.
Lovely quaint market square and minster good eclectic choice of small shops. Public transport bus terminal in square, good location for visiting other towns and locations costal towns short drive away. Would recommend to others.
Lots of independent shops and pubs. Unfortunately, the Tourist Information and Museum was closed on Sunday, which would be their busiest day. Very attractive town but the market has now closed.
The weather was good (for February) and we enjoyed having tea and cake outside n the town square with live music in the background. Pleasant place to have a wander round. A few charity shops and plenty of cafes. We discovered a great antique and vintage warehouse (Toad Hall) on the outskirts with a fantastic local cafe (Street light) opposite with the best brownies.I have ever tasted. They are on an industrial estate but don't be put off visiting by outside appearances. The cafe has a skate park and play area for toddlers too. Need to dress up warm though as Toad Hall absolutely reezing (thus the need for coffee and cake afterwards).
An attractive town. Friendly and helpful people. Good range of shops for a small town. I used BOOTS opticians in the market square and they quickly fixed a broken lens in my glasses. Good central car parks and busses. All flat and level. I would certainly avoid staying at the DROVERS INN (see my very negative review) but I would visit Kingston Lacy (National Trust) and Pamphill Dairy, a classic English tea shop with cakes!
Immaculate standards of cleanliness and Covid awareness. Hosts were gracious and friendly as well as generous. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom terrific. The location is handy for the A31, near the lovely Wimborne, not too far to the beach, handy for the countryside. There is good parking off-road at the property. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. The property is a 10 minute walk from the Dorset Soldier pub and a good menu.
Lovely hosts, very welcoming. Room spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, good night's sleep. Great location for Wimborne, a very short walk into the centre (we were staying overnight for a concert). Great breakfast spread. Wi-fi worked just fine. Wimborne Lodge deserves it's 4 star rating.
Comfortable and cosy. Fitted with everything I needed for a short break. Location was perfect with a regular bus service to Bournemouth, Wimborne and Poole. Good local dog walks. Will definitely be booking again for my next trip to the area. Hosts were helpful and friendly.
The price of Hotels in this area was expensive so the room price, although expensive was probably about right. Staff were feiendly and food was good, but a limited menu on the night we stayed.
The staff were exceptional especially the iris lady . Looking forward to the renovations to the hotel as it could do with smartening up . So next time hopefully will be even better
Breakfast was superb, good choice and our full English was cooked to order. Location of property was great, being a short walk from the centre of Wimborne and all its amenities.
It was a lovely B&B in the backdrop of a beautiful Dorset farm. Jim was very friendly and helpful . The facilities were fab and comfortable.
Location was good we were visiting friends in Wimborne minster. The breakfast was outstanding one of the best we have had anywhere.
Excellent central location for exploring Wimborne including a visit to the Theatre. Good restaurants, great for a short break.
Perfect size home for a family of four, the river location and the closeness to lovely Wimborne Minster.
Liked everything about this hotel, the style, location, and mostly the excellent staff… fantastic
Lovely, historic location and the hotel captured the local culture.
