Wimborne Minster
The Kings Head is a 200 year-old hotel on the town square in Wimborne Minster. It has free Wi-Fi internet access, a bar, an affordable restaurant and free guest parking. I thought everything was absolutely incredible. I'm aware that a refurbishment is happening soon. I really hope that the refurbishment doesn't take the charm and character away. The current style of interior design is perfect. Nicer Televisions would be a good spend of the budget. Leather sofas would be amazing. Also, Bath matts would be nice as well. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect and I can see myself spending a lot of time here in the future as long as the price is right. :) I really enjoyed my stay and would like to say that Samantha at reception was absolutely fantastic. She had a brilliant smile. I can't remember the names of the other three gents but they were fantastic too. Compliments to the Chef my Eggs Benedict was amazing. The night Porter was very friendly. The Managers were incredibly helpful and the F&B Assistant was a very hard worker. Overall an incredible stay and would definitely recommend.

What people perhaps don’t know or realise about Wimborne unless you stay overnight, especially if you overlook the minster church as my room did, right opposite. There’s a clock called the quarter Jack that has been “part of the Wimborne soundscape for 600 years” which chimes on the quarter hour. Which means every 15 minutes there’s a tinny clang ding dong through the night, plus on the hour the main bell tower bongs the hour. So at 3 am you get: ding dong, ding dong, ding dong, bong, bong, bong. Having researched this in the early hours of the morning I realised it was only going to get worse not better, so at 3.20 I decided my best option was to drive home whilst I was still fit to drive. If I'd known this before my stay I could have taken earplugs with me and got some sleep.
we went specifically to see Elio Pace at the theatre so only stopped 1 night The theatre is lovely and is friendly and right in the centre of the town The town itself is pleasant to walk around and has a number of places to eat
Accommodation located in Central area close to all amenities. Ingrid the owner very pleasant and helpful. Room was excellent all we needed for our stay. Very good breakfast choices. We have stayed at a few b and bus and this is by far the best. Would recommend to others and would certainly stay at the property again.
We were doing the Stour Valley Walk. Beautiful scenery and Wimborne is very pretty. We ate at the Fox, Canford Bottom, which was tasty. We would recommend Long John fish and chips did a deal of two small fish and large chips for £10
Lots to see and do - favourite pub The Taphouse, Favourite Restaurant was Renoufs. A trip to Kingston Lacey National Trust property recommended. I would avoid staying anywhere near the Green Man pub as was very noisy until late in the night and made our stay at The Minster Arms very unrestful. However it was not the Minster Arms fault that there were extended Jubilee celebrations that weekend.
Lovely quaint market square and minster good eclectic choice of small shops. Public transport bus terminal in square, good location for visiting other towns and locations costal towns short drive away. Would recommend to others.

Ingrid and Ian were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a good choice available. It was a short walk (5 minutes) into the centre of Wimborne and there were plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

The whole experience was first class. The owner met me and assisted with luggage. She was helpful. The room was very well situated and furnished. All the things you needed were there not like a lot of hotels and b and bs who have cut down on what used to be expected. Lovely area walkable to centre. Parking.
