I was on the Yorkshire touring cycle adventure from komoot with friends. Perfect place to stop with a number of you. We were able to keep the bikes in the house. Could of cooked a breaky but went down to Spurn point for this. Close to town centre for a few pints at night time.

The beach near the site was lovely.

The beach near the site was lovely. Withernsea town was only a short drive away. We found a lovely bistro behind the Butterfly pub which did a cracking breakfast. The front is lovely with beaches to take dogs on.

It’s a lovely area for a short stay.

It’s a lovely area for a short stay. I’m disabled and the dropped curbs are few and far between. The people are very welcoming. The community cafe is excellent value for money. There’s a lovely shop that sells things made of wood I loved it. Although I wouldn’t recommend it for people with a young family as there’s not much to entertain them. The deep in hull was well worth a visit.

Withernsea has a beautiful long level promenade, 3...

Withernsea has a beautiful long level promenade, 3 supermarkets, 3 Chinese takeaways, an Indian restaurant and a pizza and Burger bar. There are also 6 public houses and 3 caravan site venues to visit. Spurn Point is only approximately a 15 minute drive.

plenty of pubs in withernsea hard to find ones s serving food out of season spread eagle on queen street did lovely meals very cheap and also dog friendly long promenade running alongside beach dog loved it amusements were open too

Withernsea is a deprived area but has a lot to offer.

Withernsea is a deprived area but has a lot to offer. The beaches of Withernsea and Tunstall are beautiful and if you are careful to keep an eye on the tides you can walk for miles. Spurn Point is just 30 minutes drive away and has a lovely lighthouse which is sometimes open. Withernsea has its own lighthouse which is in a street!!! its worth going up for the views! I would recommend the Golden Haddock for your chippy tea, Captain Williams pub for good pub food and a drink (sometimes they have live bands on), ALDI is the best place to stock up on food if you are self-catering, There are plenty of cafes for tea and cake and fishing is good off the beach.

To many cheap shops with sub standard items however the saving for the town was the Aldi and Tesco located in the town centre Did not fancy eating in Withernsea but the village of Partrington 10 mins from Willows Caravan Park have a really great Coffee Shop where great snacks were available ,Walking around Withernsea because it was flat with very little inclines was easy
