Mestizo Antigua Cortijo is a stunning rustic retreat nestled at the foot of a volcano in Antigua Guatemala. The landscaping is breathtaking, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The architecture blends modern spacious interiors with traditional elements, giving the hotel a unique and inviting charm. The King Deluxe room was exceptionally comfortable, offering ample space and a well-designed layout that enhanced our stay. However, despite the beauty and comfort of the place. The overall experience was still very enjoyable thanks to the hotel’s natural beauty, spacious rooms, and tranquil setting. With a little more attention to detail and maintenance, this place could easily be a top-tier destination in Antigua Guatemala.

Our stay at this hotel was an absolute dream from start to finish. We had a bit of a rough start after our airport transfer got into a small fender bender, but the owner, Gustavo, immediately turned our day around. He was incredibly kind and generous, upgrading us to a larger room that was a perfect sanctuary after our stressful ride. Gustavo also offered us breakfast each day of our stay, and the food and coffee were fantastic. The chef was such a lovely person, and breakfast was served in a gorgeous courtyard, which made our mornings so special. Everyone who works at Hotel y Arte Antigua is so incredibly kind and courteous. The hotel itself is a little slice of paradise. The rooftop deck offers truly stunning, panoramic views that are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. We also took advantage of the convenient tour booking directly through the hotel. We took a coffee field tour that was an unbelievably luxurious experience. We had private transport to and from the hotel, a private tour that was unforgettable, and coffee tastings with a phenomenal view. It was so fun! A highlight of our trip. A final touch that made our stay so easy was the currency exchange right at the front desk. It saved us so much time and hassle. The hotel is also very centrally located, right across from great bars and restaurants. Highly recommend 10/10!! Gracias por todo!!
