Comfy bed, big room, clean, good smell of fresh laundry in the room, private kitchenette with fridge, microwave, big table, breakfast was very good, enough towels, nice shower cabin.
Wonderful place to explore lago Maggiore and the area.
Wonderful place to explore lago Maggiore and the area. It's not just touristic location as some other villages on the lake side. You can live there as local. On other side it has also the lake promenade and all shops, cafes and restaurants needed for vacatin feeling. Very convinient starting point to explore the lake, train, boat or car - easy to cross the lake, reach other lakes in the near or ever go to the mountains. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed walking on the lakefront, though the mosquitoes (naturally) seem to love that area too. Be sure to pack repellent spray because they're pretty insistent. The outdoor market by the boat terminal was a pretty nice way to spend half an hour. On our second (and last evening), as we were walking from the city center to our hotel (by the train station) we stumbled upon an outdoor cinema which was pretty cool. One of our favorite places to eat on that particular trip was at Giulietta al Lago. The food was good, we had a table right by the lake (so we were "visited" by swans who got like 2m away from us), and the music was non-stop 80s hits which put me in the absolute best mood.

Arona is a lovely town on the South West shore of Lago Maggiore, just a nice size with plenty of restaurants and bars, many with lake views. A great location to spend a few days or longer in the region.

I had been there a few years ago and it was full of artist and artisan shops. This time is was very commercial, which for me, was disappointing The town is still beautiful by the lake and has a great piazza with entertainment.

We had two days here in February.
We had two days here in February. We really enjoyed it and would visit again. It was fairly quiet which was good. It looked like it could be very busy mid-summer. The full cruise ferries were not working but the shuttle ferry to Angera was still open. We used the train to travel further north where there were other ferries to catch. Would have liked to spend a few more days in and around Arona.

Arona was a perfect destination for a short break.
Arona was a perfect destination for a short break. Just 45 minutes from Milan Malpensa, at the foot of Lake Maggiore. The old town was very pretty with good shops and great choices of affordable restaurants - we like ristorante da Aldo and L'Anticogallo. There is lots to do in the area including bike hire (we cycled up to the national park nearby) and boat trips to neighbouring lakeside towns and islands.
Although a car is helpful we found the buses and trains were good.
This amazing place was the best one in our 17 day journey in south Italy (we have 4 houses)
The house is situated in the wood by very closed to Arona.
Francesca and her family is leaving near the house and they are very friendly and very good people.
It was ideally for us and for ours 3 children’s.
Really thanks for this amazing stay to Francesca!
The breakfast was really rich delicious and fresh with wonderful cakes that Francesca and she’s daughter Lazen made. Every day was another tasty things to eat.
We will definitely choose this hotel again. Attentive and very kind staff. Very accessible to the train station. Spacious room, neat and clean.. Breakfast included and awesome... Over all PERFECT 👌 LOCATION...
