Our room at hotel WF2 was one of the nicest of our car trip around Sicily. Very spacious, there’s plenty of room to unpack and unwind. The bed was very comfortable and service was impeccable. The bathtub- shower offered a great soak. Breakfast was delicious and served to our dietary preferences. The location provided easy access to local touring. Thank you to a super friendly, helpful staff.

Clean, comfortable room with a balcony and fantastic view of the countryside. The staff was very polite and helpful. The pool looked inviting but the weather was cool so we did not try to swim. It was a very quiet atmosphere and hotel did not seem to be fully booked.

Very modern and extraordinarily clean, quiet room. The bathroom, too, left nothing to be desired. Our room did not have a balcony, but the view from the window was breathtaking. There is a fully functional kitchen that is shared with another room. (A third room is not part of the unit, and might not have a kitchen. It does have a balcony, though.) The location is within easy walking distance to the cathedral in downtown Caltagirone. Street parking is available for free, though this might change in the future. Communication with the owner was easy and efficient.

I am a returning guest (traveling for work). Great location, with available parking. It is in the new part of the city, close to the hospital and most services; the old part, which the touristic hotspot, can be reached by walking (~20') or car. Breakfast has a good assortment of packaged drinks and snacks, including gluten-free options, and there's also a fridge in the room and an amazing pastry shop nearby. Supermarkets are also close. The host is very friendly and available to help.

everything was very good. Salvo our host was excellent, very attentive. He helped us unload (we had a lot of stuff being on the road for 5 weeks), helped us with parking, prepared a terrific breaky, and gave us lots of info. Well done Salvo.

The hotel I Colori della SICILIA is located in the butifull center of the old town of Caltagirone is butifull, clean, nice and comfy, quiet and relaxing. From the balcony you can see the Stunning Staircase of Santa Maria del Monte and it is highly recommended to climb them to the top. Breakfast is served in a cafe in the city square, with the amazing view and feel of the old city. Tina and Salvador are adorable, helpful and so kind. Caltagirone old town is a small and modest version of Montmartre, Paris, with pottery and ceramic stores and galleries everywhere and an amazing mountain view all around. Just a perfect vacation in the butifull island of Sicaly... Score 10++++

    Beautiful architecture and use of ceramics. (The 142 stairs of Santa Maria del Monte are stunning - climb if you can!.) Second biggest park in Italy (I was told) – a great spot for relaxing and watching the world go by. City free of fake souvenirs and not crowded. Fascinating place for wandering the back streets. Helpful residents - great food. My favourite place in Sicily so far!

    The staff were great especially the pool boy! Great vibe. I think if the place would be more invested in, it would be beautiful. I would stay there again IF i had to, rooms were clean and cleanliness is key, however, they were a bit run down. Wouldnt shut it off, but would contemplate.

    This is a beautiful city.

    This is a beautiful city. I wish that I could have seen it on a weekend that was not the easter weekend though. The easter procession was amazing however the day after that was extremely quiet and it was very hard to find places to eat. I know this is totally to be expected and we still had a lovely time wandering the streets.

    Beautiful city in the middle of Sicily.

    Beautiful city in the middle of Sicily. A stay of 1 day and 1 night is enough. The most beautiful is the Scalinata di Santa Maria del Monte. Very impressive! At the top of this enormous staircase, on the right, you will find the parish church Maria SS. del Monte. Climb all the way to the top of the church tower and you will be rewarded with wonderful views of Caltagirone and the surrounding area.

    I planned our visit to Caltagirone because I love Italian...

    I planned our visit to Caltagirone because I love Italian ceramics. Overall, I was disappointed in the area where the touristic attractions are concentrated because we never found a lively piazza or busy street of shops and restaurants like so many other places we visited. Granted, it was a Sunday evening and the area is small — it took us about 15 minutes to walk from our hotel near the famous steps to the Museum of Ceramics. The scattered ceramic shops seemed to have the same wares we saw in many other towns/cities around Sicily. In a do-over, I would stop by for an afternoon at the museum (we found the artifacts interesting despite very little signage in English) but not stay over. That said, we had a good dinner at a restaurant near the steps called ninebistrot, where it felt like we were eating in a cave because the medieval architecture is exposed; the view from the bridge near the Diocesian museum was a charming surprise; and you could have a good time wandering around looking at churches. We were also happy with our hotel, Trio d’Archi, which had a hospitable proprietor, extensive breakfast offerings if you sign up for the meal, and actually free parking about a block away that actually had available spaces when we arrived around 6pm on a mid-September Sunday.

    An inn run by bright and kind Tina and Salvatore. You can see the plaza, cupola, and historic buildings right in front of your room. If you look to your right, you will see the Caltagirone Stairs. It's a lovely place. Convenient for sightseeing and dining. There is also a pottery studio to the left of the entrance to the inn, full of the atmosphere of Caltagirone! He was kind enough to take us to the bus stop. The bus was canceled in the morning, so he did some research for me. thank you for helping me.

    A mini hotel run by the most friendly family you can find. Two sisters and there father helped us in any way posible. It is located at a perfect location to visit all the places you need to see. Free parking on the property. Breakfast was very good with local pastery, coffee, juice, you name it is was there. There are a few stairs to climb but nothing to worry about. A definite place we are going to stay next time we visit. Look no further this is the place to be!!

    The hotel is located in the good spot of the town, from the balcony where I can overlook the Scala Santa Maria de Monte. The hotel's very well decorated in all area. The host picked me up and drove me back to the Bus station. The breakfast is good and it's served on the top level where people can overlook the city.

    I liked the country setting, just downhill from the main city. It would be a fantastic place to rent out with a larger group, and explore the interior of Sicily for a few days. Cool interior and exterior space, with a country squire feeling.
