The owner, Pino, runs the whole show and does a phenomenal job doing so. Rent a scooter while you’re there - this is the BEST way to see the Amalfi coast. The food at his restaurant is outstanding!

San Giacomo Relais features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Furore. Absolutely lovely property on the Amalfi coast! The location is great, the view was really spectacular, with gorgeous sunsets that were visible from our room. The place is a little treasure, recently renovated with so much respect, care and good taste! Everything is of very good quality and typical beautiful Italian decoration (handmade tiles, some vintage furniture). Wi-fi worked perfectly, all appliances are new and in great shape, room extremely clean, very comfortable bed. We payed 5EUR/day for the parking, very close to the house. Our daily ritual started with nice breakfast (very very delicious homemade cakes, local products, etc) with the amazing view, continued by a short walk to the car passing through the tiny quiet precious square in front of San Giacomo church (which we really loved) to kick-off the exploration of the coast in the best possible way. We decided to have dinner at the Relais and it was an excellent decision, Umberto is also a great cook! We feel so happy for discovering this place. Totally recommended it if you want to enjoy relaxation after a busy day visiting the coast and appreciate family-run businesses. Umberto and his family are the best hosts we ever had and we will surely be back, in autumn to enjoy the home grown veggies and homemade wine.

With a wide terrace boasting spectacular full views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Da Clotilde is set on a mountain side 2.5 mi from Furor. Everything was great! We stayed 4 nights here. The hosts were kind, friendly, very helpful and really made us feel like home. We’ve had some trouble with the orientation when we arrived in Argerola but Antoneta picked us up and saved us from a 45min walk. The breakfast was amazing. Evrything that you need for a long day of side seeing. Fruits, paistry, eggs ...it really helped us through the day. The view was... no words to describe! You will see for yourself. The location was very good. You can go anywhere very easly using the local bus. We highly recommend this accomodation.

Roccia Fiorita was everything we could have wished for and more. Aside from being located in a very picturesque small village with a panoramic view from wherever you look, the owner Lina made it feel like coming home. She welcomed us with such warmth that really put a silver lining on our entire stay. Lina was super friendly and helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had an amazing visit on the coast. We stayed four days without car, and she helped us organize our daily trips to Amalfi, Ravello and Positano and gave us really helpful tips. Highly recommend hiking Sentiero Degli Dei! Lina makes an AMAZING homemade breakfast every day served on a terrace with a breathtaking view. They also make their own Limoncello which we got a taste of at arrival. Overall we had a really wonderful stay at this B&B and on the coast. Would love to revisit this place in the future!

You do need a car to stay there - we did. Bus service not far from the hotel if you want to leave your car. Luigi helped as planning our day trips - excellent place to stay and explore the area. Will definitely recommend to stay here.
The whole Amalfi coast is now simply a tourist trap. It's big selling point is that it has a rugged and beautiful, south facing coastline. However, the level of development and the number of cruise ships means that the infrastructure now cannot cope. If you visit then expect to face long journey times (the exception being if you can travel by boat) and crowds wherever you go. Driving around is a bad idea with impossible parking and some towns closed off because there is no space for more vehicles. The buses are rammed and regularly people were left at the bus stops. If you do go then I suggest you stay in a property in a town, use boats to explore and accept that you will be surrounded by huge numbers of other tourists. We could not do any walks (I had an injured knee) but suspect that may be the only way to get some feel for the previous beauty of the area.
This bed and breakfast in Furore was wonderful and Umberto was an excellent host. His restaurant suggestion was delicious and he arranged transportation to the restaurant. We were provided personal transportation to Amalfi at a small cost and he reserved a private boat to Capri for us. He went out of his way to provide these as options for our honeymoon stay. The room offered plenty of natural light, A/C, and a wonderful view. The breakfast was light consisting of bread, jams, and coffee. When many restaurants provide heavier meals throughout the day, this light breakfast is a perfect start. Very good location to enjoy this unique part of Italy.
Nice little village but definitely one needs some sort of a vehicle as even when planning to take the bus for either Amalfi or Positano, the trip is too long and too tiring. Also not many options in terms of shops or restaurants, only a very few hence a vehicle will provide some more variety.
We stayed 4 nights which gave us time to hike the Path of the Gods/see Positano one day, take a boat trip along the coast on another day, see Vesuvius and Pompeii a third day, and then just relax the 4th day.
Great location away from the busyness of Amalfi or Positano but in the middle of both. Trek the Path of the Gods for an amazing view along the cliffs (it takes all day and you need to be in decent shape). Easy to get to Capri or Pompei but I recommend private transportation since the local buses are often, almost always, full and if full they don't even stop.
Furore
Le Marelle is the perfect place to stay on the Amalfi coast. You can visit the crazy busy towns for the day and return to first class service and serenity for the night. Saverio and his entire family are awesome! They take great care of the guests and treat you like family. We didn’t have a car, so Saverio drove us to dinner and picked us up because my husband has bad knees. They also have a nightly dinner option available. The food was amazing. You won’t regret staying here. Just watch your head in the bathroom in room two.
Furore
WONDERFUL uninterrupted ocean views right out of our window and from the beautiful patio on the main property — some of the best during our time traveling throughout the amalfi coast! The property owner Letizia was a wonderful host and made some great recommendations for restaurants and an incredible winery in the area. We absolutely loved everything about Furore! P.S., A car is definitely needed to get around this area comfortably, which was perfect since we were on a road trip.
Furore
The appartment is clean and comfortable, it has got everything you might need for a family holiday. The owners are kind and they accept pets, which is not very common in Italy. The terrace view is great and we enjoyed staying there in the afternoon when the summer sun was gone. There are 110 steps to get to the appartment, so it is not a place for people with reduced mobility, but for others it is just a chance to walk off all those pizzas and ice cream.
We came out of season and they do some great deal in this period. The boutique hotel was utterly charming and we had a great room with a large sitting room and spacious bedroom. We only had breakfast there but it was clear that they offer an amazing evening dinner there too. The staff were super helpful and printed out some important documents for me for no charge. An absolute joy to stay there ❤️
Furore
The pictures do not do justice to the view. It is absolutely stunning, from every room. We considered a hotel, but you can't beat the privacy of having your own home and yard, without street noise. Beniamino offered to drive us to restaurants nearby, and even all the way to Amalfi. The view, the privacy, the hosts... all wonderful. We hope to return someday.
If I could give this property and the service we received extra points, I would. By far the best service we received in our trip to Italy. The view from our room was outstanding, the breakfast amazing and the service ... no words to describe how kindly and efficiently we were treated. Thank you very much for making us feel like family to you. ❤
Furore
Good and very clean hotel. We loved the delicious breakfast every morning. The staff are friendly and nice. They don't really speak english, but it wasn't really ever a problem. You can understand things pretty easily and learn some italian at the same time :D For the most difficult sentences we used google translate.
Furore
Furore is a very small town, so if you want to do anything adventurous you will need to travel by bus down to Amalfi or up to Agerola. From Agerola to can hike the path of the Gods, but don’t try this hike unless you are prepared for a challenge. It’s four miles one way and took us 3.5 hours!
Hotel has rooms perched on the cliff with great sea views and lots of balcony space to relax. Hotel staff and kitchen staff are very friendly and nice. Bathrooms are new and clean. Food was good. Rooms are clean. There is a small parking on site around 10 meters from the hotel.
extremely comfortable hotel with a beautiful garden. Breakfast terrace overlooking nearby stunning valley. Plenty of parking space, which is hard to find in Amalfi. tasty food, very friendly and helpful owner and the young male waiter! We’re happy to have stayed there.

Excellent home at the top of Furore in the Amalfi Coast. This property has an excellent view of the coastline and is well located (40 minute bus ride to Amalfi and a 10 minute walk to the neighboring town of Bomerano and Agerola).
