We were given a more spacious room, with lakeview. Staff was very friendly, also getting some hot water to make tea at night. Bathroom was very comfortable, everything well kept. Bed was great. The location couldn't be better, although the street noise level is considerable.

The room was well furnished with a lovely mural of one of the Borromeo islands, was spacious with an updated bathroom with rain shower. The view of the lake was beautiful. The location was very central in the town and made it easy to get to the lake, local pool and the boats to Stresa and Ancona. We chose not to have a meal plan but the breakfasts we paid for were ample and the eggs prepared (frittata) as ordered. We also had a very lovely pasta lunch at the restaurant. The staff was very accommodating, efficient and friendly.
