Featuring a terrace, garden and free Wi-Fi, Affittacamere Villa Drusilla is located in Rome. It is 6.2 mi from the Catacombe di Priscilla and 8.1 mi from Saint Peter's Square. Best hosts I could even imagine! Such a good atmosphere with friendly and clean rooms! Public transportation was good.
Offering a terrace and views of the garden, B&B Roma Nord 311 is located in Rome, 6.2 mi from both Ponte Milvio and Roma Stadio Olimpico. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels.. - Actually, it was an apartment with 2 bed rooms. We booked a room with extra-bed for my child, then we could use also the 2nd room. That means we could occupy the entire apartment with small amount of extra cost. - The owner couple was really nice. When I wrote a WhatsApp text, they could reply soon. When we had a small trouble with boiler, owner came immediately and could fix it. - The garage was equipped with electronic gate and was enough spacious.
'The bar' in prima porta by the train station is awesome, perfect for a few stops to and from our daily trips! Ice lollies and cakes for kids. Betting shop cigarettes and cheap drinks for adults and a good air con. Small place but very friendly and nice atmosphere
Prima Porta isn't much in it's own right, without the tram station there would be no reason to visit. It's handy for Rome though. We had an impromptu day of fun when we got off the metro at Flaminio looking for a supermarket (what we found was more akin to a corner shop). We were thoroughly entertained by a variety of top class street performers and the Leonardo da Vinci museum though
We stayed at the local campground in a bungalow for the night and drove to the train station to catch the 20-30min train into Rome...worth it to stay this far out of Rome as the city has become a madhouse with tons of congestion!
Well, there isn't really much there. The caffe next to the train station is open all day and night ,so that is good for cheap beers and good coffee, but the food is shockingly bad :(.The staff is very friendly ,and like everyone in Italy ,will try to comunicate and help .The little fruit market is very good .The prices are great ,probably a third cheaper than in the city .free drinking water...The connection to Rome is very good .just be careful ,there is urban and suburban train ,one stops at prima porta ,the other one notDidn't really work out which one does :)
Dirty, dodgy outside station. Unfriendly people. Camping Tiber is the pits. Inconsistent public bus service 020 - one passerby said it sometimes doesn't run for 5 days; there is only one bus and if it is broken or there is an accident there is no service.
I liked hotel suisse. Very Friendly staff and great value for money but breakfast wasn't enough. Prima porta is ideal for naples and Pompei. ..keep an open mind when visiting the area i dont think that the council in this area has alot of spare funds. A safe enough area if you keep your wits about you the same as any place you travel to.
comfort and cleanliness and welcome was wonderful.
