The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We arrived way past time we were scheduled to arrive. Staff was there to greet us. Made us feel at home. Showed us around. Very clean, large space, beds comfortable, nicely updated, delicious breakfast, friendly hosts!!

Very good location right on the beach Ideal for exploring eastern Sicily. A new and ready-to-use sauna. Everything was there, even coffee, sugar, oil, vinegar, washing up liquid. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped. Perfect Location for a beach holiday + sightseeing! Comfortable terrace with great views of the sea! Super nice hostess, Noemi took care of everything. Very friendly!

Il Vecchio Frantoio is a short drive from the Catania Airport in the direction of Syracusa. I was expecting an old farmhouse but in fact everything was new but in the style of an old farmhouse. The grounds were beautiful.It would be fantastic to bring children here. The kitchen was very well equiped and there was the best breakfast combination I have seen so far. A woman also delivered us a nice sandwich in the morning. The apartment was also brand new. The bathroom was beautiful and there was a lot of water pressure in the shower which seems to be a rare achiement in Sicily:) The owner recommended a Pizzeria in Augusta (Red Lion). Best pizza i have ever had in Sicily!
