This was the best accommodation among my 7 bookings. Hanafuji has fantastic standards coupled with friendliness and cosyness of a homestay. Breakfast was homemade by hosts - soft bread, excellent coffee machine, yummy milk pudding, delicious salad. We had a great time chatting with the hosts.

    We've been twice to Furano.

    We've been twice to Furano. It's a wonderfully friendly and relaxed resort. While it's not large by European or American standards, it features fabulously dry powder snow, and great restaurant options at the foot of the slopes and in the adjacent town. The fact that it is small also makes it easy to meet up with friends.

    Furano was an interesting city town, with enough restaurants and markets to find whatever we might need. Both my huband and myself were not feeling well, so it was a good place to relax. All the people at the stores and eating establishments were always helpful and so very polite. There were some amazing views as Furano is surrounded by mountains. Having the ski resort nearby was a bonus.

    Furano is good for beginner and intermediate skiing. Less people on the slopes. Good for families with children learning to ski. Nut not challenging enough for advanced skiers I understand it is beautiful in summer for its lavender fields and flowers

    Small town at a distance away from the slopes.

    Small town at a distance away from the slopes. The town itself is unremarkable though compact and well-equipped. Note that Furano has TWO ski zones, and the Kitanomine zone opens about a month later into the season. Public transport is infrequent, and difficult to get around by. Driving is strongly recommended unless you plan to just remain at the hotel next to the slopes.

    The hotel was extremely beautiful and the hosts were superb.

    The hotel was extremely beautiful and the hosts were superb. All of the tourist spots in the photos were easily accessible from the hotel and absolutely worthwhile. They included Tomita Farm, a nearby waterfall near Biei, Blue Pond near Biei, the park opposite the hotel Air Furano and the Furano shrine. Highly recommend.

    Furnano town itself is dead in April.

    Furnano town itself is dead in April. The only reason to go there are the cheese factory and wine factory. But distances between both are great. Unfortunately, the wine factory was closed at the time we went to Furano (mid-April). The cheese factory experience was great. After which we called a cab (local charges) to Ningle Terrace. This artist village is barely functioning in April -- very few shops were open. But there was one owned by a retired architect that made spinners that come back to you (cool). Gitst: Spring is not the time to visit Furano. All the other seasons would be great. Example: flowers and fruit in the summer season.

    1 - value for money 2 - opposite to the Kitanomine Slope (Ski in and out almost) 3 - have microwave oven to heat stuff; have 2 refrigerator to store food; provide plates, cups, forks and knife to be used 4 - public bath 5 - Lavender Line Bus Stop is just located at the next hotel (Naturwald) (the bus go to the Furano Station and to the Prince Hotel) 6 - Owner will help to call Taxi, if needed (But you have to book a day / night before becaue they may be booked out) 7 - You have to change boots in the drying room at the basement

    We enjoyed our stay at LA Vista Furano! The hotel location was great, close to the station and restaurants nearby. We had a car, car parking was close by. It was a convenient location to go skiing as well. The hot springs were fantastic, it would be better if we could book the private ones though. We had a twin room on a higher floor, a good size for 2 of us.

    The traditional Japanese style room and the fact that the staff can speak Chinese and English. The room is also very clean and spacious. They also have shuttle service to bring you to the Furano ski resort and Furano station.
