The furnishings were very nice, and the free-to-borrow clothes were also excellent. Its location next to Shinotori Shopping Arcade means there’re lots of food and evening shopping options. The laundromachines were also convenient to use.

The room was very good. The laundry room was very good. If the customer did not come to take the clothes out when they were finished, the staff would unlock the machine and take the clothes to the reception, allowing the next customer to use the washing machine.

Awesome. The best one during the whole trip. Low price even including breakfast, best location, good view, nice staff (I left sth in the room after check out and when I came back they soon found and gave back). New facilities, clean and tidy.

    Yuhoen Fruit Farm to enjoy fruit picking and unlimited serving of fruits picked within an hour. There were Hosui pears, Kyoho and Fuji Minori grapes. Great experience! Kumamoto castle is a must visit as well as to savour horse sashimi.

    Kumamoto city - not much to see.

    Kumamoto city - not much to see. Aso area - nicer - with views, countryside and waterfalls. Accessible only by car so suggest self drive. Treat places like US where you need to drive everywhere to get stuffs. I don't put photos because need to convert to jpg.

    Other than the castle area, there isn't much to see in...

    Other than the castle area, there isn't much to see in Kumamoto itself. But if you enjoy nature, the city is a pretty good jumping off point for visiting areas such as the Aso caldera and the Takachiho Gorge area.

    people unfriendly, better in other cities (and I have traveled to japan over 25 years plus lived in Osaka). Finding the bus station and getting bus info was a pain... the bus office is in the mall upstairs and the mall entrance has NO indication that it continues the bus office...we walked around for ages to locate it .

    1. Everything is great about this hotel, except for the breakfast which do not have many varieties. A few food items were consumed and they were not refilled. 2. Other than breakfast, this is a great hotel to stay, near train station, shopping, etc. 3. Perfect place for those honeymooners.

    Kumamoto is the home of the wonderful and renowned castle...

    Kumamoto is the home of the wonderful and renowned castle and the gateway to the incredible surrounding rural areas with the caldera, Aso town and the volcano. Beautiful area that I wish to return to.

    An excellent hotel with a luxurious feeling and superb service. We had a large and very comfortable room with an exquisite view of Kumamoto Castle. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Yet the prices are not at all that high, especially not for what you receive. Highly recommended if you are in the area. A big bonus was the best baby bed in our whole trip in Japan.

    Conveniently located at the shopping district with lots of eateries around the hotel. The tram is just outside the hotel. Kumamoto Castle is just a 5min walk away. Ice machine, microwave oven and coin laundry available for guests use were a plus point. Bath and shower were great too.
