Absolutely 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place was like an oasis in the desert — a peaceful, welcoming haven after long days of traveling and arriving from a desert experience with 46 degrees. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available for anything I needed. Whether it was a late-night question, a local recommendation, or just a warm smile, they were there with genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, but it was really the people here that made the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to rest, recharge, and feel completely taken care of, this is it. I can't recommend it highly enough.

It’s a beautiful property and the room and great. The gardens are amazing and everything was clean and nice. The owners were also very helpful and the breakfast was great!

What a beautiful experience in the palmerie of Skoura. A newly-restored ancestral home wrapped around a garden of date, pomegranate and lemon trees, with a stunning simple terrace covered with carpets. Lovely rooms and bathrooms with heat/AC. How beautiful to sit in the morning sun and read on the terrace, or on the rooftop overlooking the palmerie. Amazing to enjoy the picnic lunch they laid out for us on carpets they transported into the quiet oasis. We were lucky to be their first guests. While there were no reviews to rely on, we were drawn by the framing of the mission of the place. We learned more about it when we met the young doctoral scholar whose ancestral home this is, and the highly-educated and thoughtful team—mostly women—who together are actively conceiving the cultural and spiritual project of which the Oasis Heritage House is just the visible part. Their mission is important, and we had the sense of bring privileged to encounter this project—and this team of cultural initiators—in its early days. Their guesthouse environment is ideal now, held in the beautiful spirit of Sufi adab. We can envision the future of this place as an important site of transmission of the lifeways of the oasis and a point of contact with the many Sufi paths that have infused the culture of this region with such a tangible spirit of warmth and serenity. Friends in the world, bring books for their future Sufi library in all your languages. Spread the word of this place among those who hope to find not just an authentic place to rest in the palmerie, but a tangible connection to its living heart.

Truly an oasis and possibly our best stay, we were treated royally and I would welcome a return trip, even as a hideaway. Skoura is remote and it was cold when we were there. This newly built facility was lovely! Heat in the large rooms, lovely dining facility and the staff was exceptional! The owner was very communicative before and during our stay via booking.com and arranged a camel ride for us which was delightful. The food was also amazing, delicious samples of the region, it was so good we had dinner there each night. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Private parking within the walls, well marked and easy to find. Food largely came from their garden and their oven. Truly fabulous. The views of the Atlas Mountains from the room under a full moon…

With 20 years in the tourism industry, Ahmed's first hotel of his own reflects his years of experience. No detail is overlooked starting with Ahmed himself, who is a naturally warm, open, and friendly host, his well appointed and tastefully decorated rooms, his Instagram ready terrace, beautiful place settings, and delicious menu offerings. After many nights of tanjines, brochettes, and cous cous, his wife Fatima's special beef dish was a delicious and welcome alternative. Breakfast was very generous and delicious as well. Although an affordably priced guesthouse, it provides its guests with first class treatment with thoughtful details.

First of - you get to stay in a castle. Secondly - IT'S A CASTLE (kasbah). At the same time it is also a Berber museum. The host and his family are really nice people. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, offered a tour in the museum. The breakfast was really special and I highly recommend having it. The room was nicely decorated, spacious, with a balcony. Bathroom was clean and had everything needed. If you need to make a stop on the way to either Merzouga or Marakesh, this is the place.

Both the hotel and the setting were very charming. The amenities are rustic but are a very good value for the price. The dinner and the breakfast were both very good. Abdu, the host and owner was very welcoming and kind. He is fluent in French and can communicate reasonably well on English. I recommend Les Jardins des Grenadiers without hesitation.

We liked everything. It is a really beautiful, serene kasbah. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. We were served a delicious dinner and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, made with the hosts own produce. Would return just to spend more time in the kasbah's relaxing, friendly atmosphere.

    We made this our base for a brief trip away from Marrakesh because of the oasis. Definitely worth coming to see the old way of life as a contrast to the city, and the mud brick kasbahs. I wouldn't bother staying for more than a couple of days unless you're happy doing very little. Nothing to do once it gets dark.

    The hotel is fairly remote, and you will need either to hire a car or as we did use transport provided by the hotel for trips to the local market, palm groves, oasis, etc. "Maison 'd'hote Amridril" is a charming small venue. About six rooms only which form a row of low buildings in traditional style. Provisions are basic but adequate, the ornamental gardens are stocked with a abundant variety of plants and food can be provided on site cooked in the kitchen using produce from the hotel's own gardens. The swimming pool is a major feature, clean and well maintained and a couple of visitors arrived from other local hotels without one to use the pool. Overall, the hotel, having only six rooms is very quiet and peaceful. Aziz the manager and his assistants could not do enough to make our stay pleasant. I would return without question for a few quiet days at "Maison d'hote Amridril".

    Very accommodating host.

    Very accommodating host. The only issue was the mattress, which was changed as soon as it was brought to the host's notice. Meals were prepared by the lady of the house. Breakfast was included, evening meal was optional. Wifi was excellent. The hosts own palm and pomegranate orchards locally, and offered tours within his family's ownership and around the vast & historic Skoura oasis, with its many and varied casbahs. There is a range of places to eat in Skoura, an interesting street market and good banking.

    We arrived earlier than anticipated and were immediately invited to share a delicious couscous with Abdul’s friends (he keeps excellent company!) We felt very welcome. We loved the authenticity of the place and the gorgeous garden full of 100% organic produce that he uses in his restaurant. We were also given a tour of the garden by Driss and got to try all the fresh fruits. The lamb tajine prepared by Latifa was one of the best we’ve had in Morocco so far! Abdul also sang us some songs and we had great laughs with him over dinner.

    Great place, well located relatively to see what is around, in the region. Safe, quiet, great welcome, accepting Credit card (quite useful and not always possible during our trip in Morocco). Besides, room was big and well fit for the family, great breakfast and all facilities are present (pool, breakfast, dinner, inside parking places).

    Really nice rooms and hot showers. Isham was a great host and a fantastic chef, we had the best tagine, soup, and breakfast of the entire trip to Morocco here. The drive to the accommodation is a little tricky at night but fine by day, we arrived after dark but arrived fine.
