The house is beautiful and comfortable, and in a great location close to the beach. Our host was very friendly and eager to accommodate us in any way to make our stay more enjoyable. He gave us numerous suggestions of things to do while in town that were very fun, and any time we had questions or needed anything, he responded right away. It's a very tranquil quiet area.
It's a very tranquil quiet area. Local dogs yes, but not barking local dogs. It's a pretty area in a native way. roads are rough in many parts, but not unexpected roughness. The taxis are the tricyclo types not cars which helps things remain more relaxed.Guest review bynoraUnited States - 10.0
The town itself is about 2 years away from being a tourist...
The town itself is about 2 years away from being a tourist destination. They are building a new road into Sisal that looks like it will be done by June. The main street was new and looking really good. Get off the beaten path though and you have dirt streets, old mexico. But it looks like they are trying to make it much better.
