The location, it’s surreal!! Incredible view and beautiful surroundings, the buildings match nostalgic to a correct era in the canal zone, it could easily be one of the most stunning resorts in the world with a little restoration not renovation! I truly don’t understand why there is no global advertising for this property, but again I loved it being like this and quiet, We’ll be back for sure and stay a little longer, loved the staff, pure Panamenian hospitality.

Monkey Lodge Panama has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Chilibre. There is free private parking and the property has paid airport shuttle service.

The grounds are lovely, tucked away in a private piece of jungle. The pool is very clean and nice, and the units provide opportunity for solitude with ample privacy. The very best thing about Monkey Lodge is the family that runs it. They are so accommodating and kind, and have a great deal of knowledge. We had tours with the father and son, and both tours were incredible. (take their advice and get up and out early for tours) I had some confusion with transports to other locations, and the family was incredibly helpful in straightening out my mess, even after I departed the lodge. It was a totally awesome experience, and I will return for a visit.

For a budget Hostal, truly excellent. Staff is great and supportive. Rooms and e suit private bathrooms super clean. Good bed. AC quiet. Kitchen is shared and I cooked and of course cleaned but they would have. Close to several restaurants and supermarkets and quick markets. Nothing beyond a 10-15 minute walk. Miguel’s grill is next door and fully air conditioned dining.

Located in Panama City, Sofia's B&B Hostal Boutique offers a shared lounge. With a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.

The location is perfect if someone needs a local flight- it's easy to walk to the airport if travel light or 3 dollars for a taxi. I had to pay 2.50 dollars extra for 2 slices of bread (European style) as it's not included in Panamanian breakfast.
