CanadaThe family running the house was amazing and very responsive. They were able to give us lots of information about the area which was very helpful. The breakfast was provided promptly and was very tasty with farm fresh eggs from their chickens. Great pool, fabulous view and very homey space. We would love to come back!

BelgiumAn amazing property set in the Portuguese vineyard with brand new facilities and an amazing staff. The Brandas bungalows are fantastic and secluded for those looking for peace and quiet, the Elmo restaurant is a great value for money offering authentic portuguese cuisine and their own Lavandeira wine is also top quality. Picnic in nature can also be organised by the staff, guests can rent electric bikes, etc.

What Guests Said About Baião:
Scored out of 10, guest rating 10
Beautiful place by the Douro river.
Beautiful place by the Douro river. But it is a bit far from other attractions and villages. Also no supermarket or restaurants nearby. You have to take the train or car to get there. But if you want a special experience in the beautiful Douro valley, this is the place.

We liked our room a lot. Some improvements will definitely help for an even better stay, for instance, hangers in the area of the bathroom for the towels, a bin in the living room area, as there was only one bin in a 2-level room, one bin at the bathroom only. The food at the restaurant needs improvement; the meat wasn't good. The breakfast as well was a bit poor for my taste. Otherwise, the whole hotel in general has an amazing aesthetic and is very clean.

Outstanding experience. Property and rooms are well kept to a 5 star hotel standard. Views from the rooms are incredible, overlooking the Douro river and the vineyards across, which is also the view from the fabulous infinity pool. Hosts are amazing. So gracious with information on local things to see and do and restaurants to visit. Had the best meal in Portugal based on their recommendations. We would Definately return and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The views were beautiful, and the pool was really nice. Our son especially loved it because the property was spacious and there were different animals around, which made it very fun and entertaining for him.
The breakfast was fresh and organic, and we really enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It was a lovely place to slow down and enjoy some quality family time. We would definitely come back!
