The building is beautiful, well maintained and the room was lovely. Most of the bar staff was helpful and nice, we had to dine exclusively in the bar area. I stayed at the hotel because it is historic, 4 star and pet friendly.

Usually we dont bother to rate as all staff have been professional but the group here try to be particularly helpful. It was noteworthy and the breakfast provided had extra selections along the lines encountered at luxury Hotels we have been at!!

Very hospitable owner and employees. The place is new and very clean and comfortable. I am allergic to mold and so sometimes it is hard to find hotels in rural Portugal that are mold-free but this place was great for me (i.e. no mold). We enjoyed our stay and slept well.

Staff was very receptive and supportive during all the stay, the place is beautiful, the hotel is nicely maintained, my wife and I are vegans by informing the team in advance it was accommodated nicely, I would definitely consider to come back.
