It was beautiful, we felt as though we were in the heart of...
It was beautiful, we felt as though we were in the heart of Portugal. It wasn't touristy, and all the local people we encountered were friendly and polite. We hired a car and the roads were great, very few cars and pretty direct routes to where we were going, with beautiful scenery all around. We were about an hour and a half drive from the nearest beach, but that was no hardship at all, even though the weather was super sunny, as there are so many beautiful river spots close by to picnic, paddle or swim.Guest review byHazelUnited Kingdom
