Trancos is an ancient walled town set high up on a granite plateau, A wonderful base for hiking on the Aldeas Historicas paths and and having more than its full share of excellent restaurants. Don't expect lively evenings in street cafes, this is a small rural town which is trying to get on the tourist map.
