United StatesVery comfortable room and nice facilities. Great breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Coming for a work trip and not into the gambling and craziness of Vegas, this hotel was close enough to Vegas for work meetings, but a nice relaxing atmosphere outside of Vegas.

I had breakfast in the World Famous Coffee Cup, it had a vibrant diner feel, if you arrive at a busy time as it's first come first served, and it's popular, I was there at 9.30am Sunday and got a seat at the bar, don't worry there were other great looking places to choose from in the same location too. I also visited the Boulder Dam Hotel & Museum while in the town which tells the story of the building of the Hoover Dam (the lives of the workers and their families). Lake Mead is stunning and can be seen from the road to Hoover Dam, I stopped by the Alan Bible Visitors Centre which was great for more Dam history & gifts and is also the start of the Hoover Dam Walking Trail which is a few miles long but worth it for the views (pack water, snacks & sunscreen and don't do it in the Summer heat!)Guest review byAbigailUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A beautiful, quaint place less than 30 minutes from Las Vegas. So many lovely eateries - we love the Coffee Cup, Dillinger (serves the best chilli) and Boulder Dam Brewing Company - try the Watermelon Cider and chicken tenders! For a drink on a Friday night, you can't beat Beer Zombies. The antique and boutique stores are a lovely way to pass an afternoon, and the museum in the Boulder Dam Hotel is informative and fun.Guest review byBethUnited Kingdom

And originally booked 2 rooms for 1 night and are now staying 3 in the historic are of Boulder City with lovely bars and restaurants all within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy to visit Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and Las Vegas. So clean and refreshing and a quiet location. I loved the views of the mountains from my window and the access to the Hoover Dam Trail, which is right on the doorstep meaning I could easily walk to The Hoover Dam and back (20,000k steps) in a day. The views from the trail are exceptional, take water, food & sunscreen, the trail is well marked.
