Dallas is an incredible city, full of every cultural restaurant and shopping from the most inclusive to the most affordable. Also full of history and the Texas experience of ranching to the explorative. Check out the Perot Museum, especially with kids. If you want Tex-Mex with the best prices, check out Desperados on Greenville. I was born in Dallas in 1966 and only moved away (to France) after 40 years. Dallas is a huge place but the driving is wild most fun i've had moving around a city. keep on your toes and study your maps ahead of time if you want to avoid having to double back on parts of the drive. The location of the hotel is excellent being right on top of Downtown Dallas which is easily covered on foot. Our room was clean and spacious and serviced each day of our 3 day stop and had a great view of Dallas. The gym facilities were excellent, offering lots of choice.
