The staff was so very kind & Courteous. We absolutely LOVED the pool. Also the convenience of stores and restaurants. Additionally, I loved that they allowed me to park my semi there also.

We did not stay at this location. The morning before our supposed arrival, the host cancelled our reservation without explanation. They also stated our card would not be charged, however it did and they also still have not reimbursed!

    Haines City is a small suburban community in Florida.

    Haines City is a small suburban community in Florida. Our luxury vacation home was extremely beautiful in the safe gated golf community of Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club. The only draw back is the distance from Orlando attractions such as Disney. Traffic is grid-lock and takes just over an hour to reach Disney. However, a positive is that Legoland is quite close (25 mins by car) for kids to enjoy. As well, the personal pool is quite a highlight for children to daily enjoy. The adults have the highlight of the scenic Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club.

    The use of my relative's community pool was excellent, very well kept. Restaurants and stores were readily available. Florida drivers can be terrible and rude to those with an out-of-state license plate, but navigating the city went well. I would do things differently next time, but I am not sure that there is anything I would avoid.

    It was a nice place to visit.

    It was a nice place to visit. It was just right after that hurricane Ian. But it was stil up and running so I give it An A for legoland being opened when we arrived. It would have probably been a great place to visit before the hurricane hit. The water was very high hope the people who live in the in the are stay safe.

    This city is a dangerous place. The locals are not friendly. There's nothing you can do in this city at night. This town needs years of development. Wal-Mart, Aldi, few restaurants are the only new places you can go. I never coming back to that town.

    I was in Florida where we live in Ocala but wife was staying in Haines City caring for her grandmother. From our home it is 2.5 hours. I was only home for one night and then gone for two weeks. So I just booked a room there in Haines City so she would be close to Grandma and we could see each other and not have to wait 2 more weeks. And she did not have to drive 2.5 hours to Ocala and then 2.5 hours back to Grandma's

    The unit was exceptionally clean and roomier than a hotel room. The area was newer and very quiet yet located just a few minutes from shops and restaurants and major thoroughfares, so easy to get around. The host was very friendly, responsive and accommodating to any needs.

    The location was great. Just 20 minutes from both Disney and Legoland. There were many shopping areas and restaurants nearby. And the house was very spacious with lots for the kids to do on our down time, and had a nice modern decor.
