From the moment we arrived staff exceptional. Overnight staff helped me solve a coffee issue for a 4 am call I took in the lobby and Jorge at the front door made our last moments great. Movies in the pool and fantastic (not included) breakfast at the restaurant reasonably priced for what we saw in LA

A very nice and exquisite boutique hotel in Hollywood, right next to some boutique apartments, and landmarks down the Hollywood Hills, walkable towards TCL Chinese Theater. I am very fortunate to stay in the room named after Bette Davis, which you will find is how they label their room. The room is absolutely stunning in Chinoiserie Style, with all the decorations on point. The staff is friendly and helpful. Had the most amazing stay in Hollywood that I would not forget.

From start to finish, the staff were first class all the way and made our stay. They were thoughtful, attentive, and anticipated every possible wish with a smile. We truly could not think of a single thing they could have improved. The hotel is full of charming details and the room is both cosy and luxurious which is a pretty hard feat to pull off.

FAQs about hotels in Los Angeles

City of Angels

Exploring Los Angeles, the place where movies are made, you feel like you’re in a dream. Santa Monica Pier is the end point of the fabled Route 66, while just south is bohemian Venice Beach, lined by tall, swaying palms. Go slightly inland from the boardwalk to catch a glimpse of the canals that earned the area its name.

Head north to the golden beach and stunning scenery of Malibu and see why movie stars over the decades have settled here. Also popular with the rich and famous are Bel Air and Beverly Hills, home to exclusive Rodeo Drive.

And the reason for all this glitz and glamour? Hollywood, of course! Sitting high on a hill, the iconic sign is visible for miles around, while below the gold stars on Hollywood Boulevard immortalize celebrities of past and present.  Be there on premiere night to see them grace the red carpet of Grauman’s Chinese Theater.

Over the hill is Universal Studios, with behind-the-scenes tours as well as rides. Next door are the Warner Brothers Studios, and Paramount Studios are closer to Downtown LA.

Whether you decide to live like a star in a luxury LA hotel or choose a cheap motel through Booking.com, it’s worth renting a car to get around this sprawling city and out to Los Angeles Airport (LAX).

Los Angeles is a huge cities that has a lot to offer.

Los Angeles is a huge cities that has a lot to offer. You can just relax at the beach choosing from plenty of different places and vibes: from Malibu to Santa Monica to the more lively Venice Beach or peaceful Hermosa. You can hike at Lake Hollywood Park or Griffith Park, with breathtaking views of the city, especially at sunset. You can also appreciate a lot of restuarnts and bars in many areas, especially West Hollywood and Beverly Hills are my favorite. The best way to move around is car, it won't be difficult find parking spots but take some time, there is some distance between interesting spots

    LA was so incredible.

LA was so incredible. The culture and community are amazing and there's so much history. I wish I could've stayed longer but I plan on coming back soon to conquer the city again with adventures. There's always places to go and memories to make. Los Angeles helped me heal in ways I never thought possible, especially Hollywood and Little Tokyo.

Good for tourists wishing to view iconic sites. The city as a whole though is a mess. Little if any civic pride displayed as most streets and freeways have rubbish strewn about. Smog is still a big problem for anyone suffering from respiratory issues.

    Los Angeles is very large.

Los Angeles is very large. Most of it is very run down due to poor infrastructure investment. There are some great places to visit (e.g. Santa Monica, Griffith Observatory, WB Studios) If you don't want to spend most of your holiday in a car the Metro is cheap and convenient, as long as it goes to near where you want to visit. Homelessness is apparent in many areas. A large part of Downtown is a no go area. A week in LA is more than enough.

You can almost never run out of things to do here!

You can almost never run out of things to do here! Between theme parks, tours, hiking, the beach, arcades, high end restaurants and food trucks there is truly something for everyone in Los Angeles. If the city is too fast for you, the suburban areas have interesting surprises to keep you engaged at a slower pace. Traffic really sucks, but if look past it, there is just so much to do. I'd reccommend a day at Universal Studies for the backlot tour and end the day with some Korean BBQ, maybe at Seoul Soul in K-town. Burrantino's Pizza in Carson is a hidden gem and you gotta hit Fat Burger or Marathon Burger for a meat fix.

Perfect spot in Hollywood and a beautiful hotel. Clean, modern and spacious. Had the Hollywood Sign View Room which was amazing, with a proper view of the sign. It’s right next to the Ovation Mall and the Hollywood Walk of Fame so was extremely convenient for us. As expected it wasn’t cheap but that was not surprising given the area. Overall not one thing to complain about!
