Exceptional place with amazing views. The typical Palm Springs hotel I would imagine and see in films. Jessica was also just super friendly and very welcoming. I rarely put 10/10 for hotels but this definitely deserves it.

Unfortunately most museums and the botanical gardens were closed when we were there, we arrived Monday and left Thursday, it seems to be a city that mostly works Thursday to Sunday. The hotel was walking distance from the city center, easy to walk around, beautiful city, we didn't have enough time to do the hikes in the canyons, I would love to go back for that.

The city of Palm Springs is great!

The city of Palm Springs is great! The architecture is, of course, legendary and exploring was so much fun. There are plenty of restaurants and quick food options as well as resorts and nighttime options. The local transportation can be a little pricey, but to be fair, we came on a weekend where there was a huge event and that affected this. Every single person we met that lived in the city or is from the city was super kind and helpful. They offered up places to visit and helped with all of the "insider" spots.

My daughter was supposed to get married on top of Arial Tram- it broke down, and she was not informed until a few days before event, that was planned for almost a year! Needless to say, it was extremely stressful, and the wedding had to be moved 100 miles away. If you're traveling with a large party, making plans, booking hotel rooms etc., you can do better going further westbound! It's a lot cooler too!

Palm Springs would probably nice during the cooler season. Way too hot in the off season. Alot of stores and restaurants are only open during the cooler season or only on the later days of the week and weekends.

Palm Springs had nice dining options and many nice restaurants/bars. The shopping was sophisticated and there was a nice variety of stores. Several fun activities like the Casino, desert hiking in a nature park and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway were surprisingly interesting. The Palm Springs Museum with its iconic Marylin Monroe statue gave things a fun resort town feel and provided several nice photo ops. This fun resort town has nice coffee shops to sit down, relax, and people watch. The dining choices seemed endless. Most importantly the downtown area had a resort feel — welcoming, inviting and relaxing. The unhurried culture, resorts with their swimming pools, and the dining make this little downtown area a must see and perfect weekend getaway. World class golf courses were close-by. It has a perfect little California resort town vibe going on. 😉😂👍😎

Love the location and have been there before in 2019 and have enjoyed our stay. The units are clean and well maintained. Just feel the pools need some improvement. Still I’d go back and stay there. My grandchildren love all the access to the courts you have to play different activities.

We were very lucky to enjoy a complimentary upgrade on arrival and room was lovely. A huge very comfortable double bed and some lovely outdoor seating areas at the front and back. The pool area was lovely with super comfy beds and chairs where we sat while watching some hummingbirds flying around. The hotel was in a good location and within easy walk distance to all that Palm Springs down today has to offer.

Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Location was along a busy road so this could be better. Overall the layout of the hotel, the reception and complementary items were above expectation. On our 16 days trip we stayed at 9 different hotels across California and Nevada. Mostly 4 and 5 stars, but Hotel California was the best by far.

Palm Springs is an expensive environment, for sure but this beautiful hotel with charme and equipment from the 60s of the last century was a bit too expensive for that. It is nice and ok, the pool is great and the people there were fun but we have stayed in better and cheaper hotels before.
