Buoy 16 Motel is located directly in front of the beach and boardwalk in Seaside Heights.

The location was the deal breaker for us.You didn't have to drive to the beach/boardwalk because it was of walking distance from the hotel. It saved us money for parking because we kept our car parked at the hotel the entire time we were there. Our rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed .

Seaside Sands Inn, hotel in Seaside Heights

Just a half-block from the Beach and Boardwalk, this hotel is just 3.5 blocks from Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach Waterpark. It offers traditionally styled rooms with free Wi-Fi.

I liked the photos on the website of the rooms, until I got there and realized all they did was throw a pretty picture on the wall to make the room seem more inviting when in fact the place is disgusting and deserves to be shut down.

I absolutely love the city of Seaside Heights as well does...

I absolutely love the city of Seaside Heights as well does my wife and children. We stay here every year and no matter how long we stay we hate to say goodbye. Always something to do no matter rain or shine. Breakfast at Jim’s and Lucky Leos is the best arcade hands down. Can’t go wrong with 3 Brothers Pizza for a bite to eat. Bike rentals are a must do. You can travel the entire island if you don’t mind a few mile pedal. If you get there before Memorial Day weekend or after Labor Day weekend the beach is free and the deals are outstanding. Looking forward to our next stay!

Walking along the Boardwalk, smelling the delicious smells...

Walking along the Boardwalk, smelling the delicious smells of Italian sausage cooking, Pizza, Calzones, cold Lemonade, Ice Cream, Cotton Candy, chocolates inside the Candy shop, Salt Water Taffy- Oh! It just brings you back to when you were a kid! And the Boardwalk games-the spinning wheels, bust a balloon with a dart, knock over a raggedy burlap clown with a softball, squirt the water gun till you're the first to make the balloon fill up on top of the clown's head and Bust!!!!And the Indoor Arcades!!! ALL kinds of Fun games in there!!! I Love to play the Skeeball and the Basketball games! But the machine games are fun, too!!! Poker machines, Wizard of Oz machines, Willy Wonka machines, Drop the coins machines, claw machines, etc... are a Ton of Fun!!!Then-you go back outside to the Boardwalk and visit one of the Great Bars/Restaurants on the Boardwalk. I LOVE The Beachcombers and Spicy's!!!! GREAT Food & the Staff are WONDERFUL- in BOTH Places!!!SO- you can eat and dance, sing, or just listen to a Live Band while you have a few cocktails!!! It's WONDERFUL!!!And then-you get to walk over to a spot on the Boardwalk that lets you walk a little (a dock I guess you would call it) to overlook the sandy beach and watch the Waves rolling in and out! It's Beautiful at Sunrise, Sunset, or when a big, bright Moon is shining!!! I Highly Recommend a traveler (with a family, or Solo) to go enjoy themselves in Seaside Heights! Oh! And don't forget to stop into Klee's Pub/Restaurant, Joe's Breakfast Diner, and Ryan's Deli/Bagel shop!!! They Are AWESOME, too!!!!

I was allittle worried, since I never stayed at Hershey...

I was allittle worried, since I never stayed at Hershey motel, till thIs summer TWICE.. IT Doesn't matter where I would of stayed, I'm allittle OCD, so everything got cleaned before we u packed are bags, 1st. Time, 2nd time, felt comfortable enough to go back to Hershey motel myself, from Pa. When I booked, I asked again, by pool, bottom floor, due to my COPD, they didn't hesitate to give me where I wanted, and asked for same room as month prior, they were going to do that, I'm the butt head , that told them wrong number. 😂 but it was a nice spot also. It's so hard to choose where to stay, cause alot if pix of rooms, are to look nicer, and bigger, then they really are, but I was happy that I ended up choosing Hershey.. there may be nicer ritts type around area, but, unless your a princess, Hershey is fine, and both times, staff was wonderful.. one young guy brought me down allittle, he looked miserable every morning, the other one, was so happy and helpful. 1st trip there was a older, but not old. Haha and he did everything, I've never tipped a person that did clean up or whatever you really needed, that wasn't his job, but was happy to help us.. month later, I asked about him, I didn't see him, the younger happy guy, said he was going to be out all that week, cause he was sick. And wouldn't be back till 3 days, after I was gone. Hope he us doing fine. They all made you feel like one big happy family, while staying at Hershey. Good luck and new visitors, take a chance, just can't be a debutante. FLOORS were dirty. I will take my mop stuff next time. Lol

Beautiful area weather incredible atmosphere overall...

Beautiful area weather incredible atmosphere overall peaceful relaxing the locals were friendly welcoming informative and down to earth the motel was ok but needs absolutely a makeover. Only stay as a budget lover or to transition…otherwise go elsewhere spend same money at better venues!! Take your time and research it’s doable. Learned my lesson till this place do the major do-over I will stay away!!

Seaside Heights was fine just the motel was awful.

Seaside Heights was fine just the motel was awful. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Also, overnight street parking is over priced. If you are renting a two bedroom apartment, you should receive more than one parking space for unit.

The I been coming to Seaside for over 30 years and have been to almost every motel there. I found the Hershey about 10 years ago and never stayed anywhere else. It is always clean and has a huge pool. During the summer months there is a bbq restaurant and bar open onsite. You can walk to the beach and boardwalk. I highly recommend this motel

I like how the motel was literally behind the boardwalk. All you had to do was cross the street; the boardwalk entrance was right there. The pool was empty, which was great.
