This was my first time to this part of coastal North Carolina. I ate dinner at the Inlet View Bar and Grill. Very cool place. It was an okay place to stay at.
It was an okay place to stay at. Our room was a little musty smelling but I just assumed it was from the humidity. The breakfast are was way too small. Only a few tables and trash was overflowing. Besides being so clean, quiet and well staffed. This hotel was located perfectly near the Oak Island / /point ,(their bay meets the ocean) - my favorite beach which is best of 2 worlds). and Ocean Isle beaches - only 10-15 minutes and maybe 20 minutes to Myrtle Beaches. Best seafood restaurants in Ocean Isle - Fish Company and Starkeys on their bay and in Calabash area - Captain Nance’s and Oyster Rock Restaurants!! These 2 NC area beaches are so close to the SC border on the map. Getting around Shallotte area is easy/no traffic to speak of. Enjoy!Guest review byIronsUnited States - 10.0

My husband went for the breakfast and was satisfied. The hotel is in a great location to Holden Beach. Parking right outside with our own side entrance.
