Beautiful city with high population and a lot of tourists. People around me were friendly. I wasn't bothered by anyone.
I visited nice restaurants with good service but pricy. I would recommend other people to save up enough and take more cash because some places change fee for credit card. But it's a very good place to visit for a few days.

Love the trolley-but they should run more often, especially when there is an event or festival in town. We had a long wait between trolleys, and when the trolley finally arrived, the driver had to sit for 10 minutes and explain to each passenger the fare system. Payment for the trolley is not clearly stated-the driver has to explain how the trolley works and how much it costs to EVERY person who boards the trolley. Really, the trolley company should have handouts at each hotel and shop and restaurant in the area, and people should be able to purchase tickets at hotels and shops. That would cut down on wait times, and help move the trolleys along.
Virginia Beach has a lot of nice restaurants and cute boutiques, not to mention a souvenir shop on almost every corner. Nice laid back atmosphere.

The traffic and road construction getting to Virginia Beach is horrendous. A lot of the restaurants are very touristy and not very good. The beach is well taken care of and there are life guards. It is a haven for people with kids as most hotels have pools too.

I loved the experience that we had interacting with staff and some of the locals. I enjoyed the walks down the strip; it was lively. The access to the beach from the hotels on the strip were amazing. I do not have anything bad to say about the city itself.

The whole area smelled like weed, there were homeless people everywhere, and during the 3 days there we didn't see one single cop anywhere, which I guess explains that a bit. I will say, Repeal - Bourbon & Burgers restaurant was the definite highlight. The staff was amazing, the food was great, and it was the best Old Fashioned I've ever had.

Lots of trash, waves were crazy the whole time. Bring lots of money they make a living on selling stupid stuff for a super high amount. Went to the restaurant on the beach. 2 mediocre meals were $89. Ocean eddies. Do not go there man.
Loved the location, we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. Room was ok, bed was comfortable, the pillows were terrible plastic air filled, luckily we brought our own pillows. Didn’t like that the balconies were not private, everyone on their balcony could see each other. There was no breakfast, just juice and the coffee was weak (maybe I just like it too strong)
So said on description there was a laundry on site, this has not been true for 5 yrs this was the reason we booked this hotel as on a 6 week road trip. Also do not stay on ground floor noise was awful and kids running around at 11pm.
The accommodation was very spacious and would be perfect for a family with 3 double beds. The location right on the boardwalk with easy access to Atlantic avenue.
