The room that was assigned to me was absolutely filthy from the sheets to the carpet microwave to the Jacuzzi tub and even the refrigerator . When I went to bring this to the attentions Of the staff she got an attitude and told me I have to pay and additional $100 fee for a deposit which was not mentioned on the booking websites when I first purchased the room. So I had to leave the hotel to find a Wells Fargo bank to get cash out because their arm didn’t work . I ask to speak to the manager of the facility and she caught another attitude with me yells saying the manager didn’t wanna speaker to me . She spoke to him and he said if I have another problem to just leave and it was already after the 4pm so I could get my refund even if I tried to cancel. The stay was absolutely terrible . The beds had burn and smoke burn marks in it . Some weird brown and red stains on the bed and sofa . (FYI this is the room given to us after I ask to be relocated to another room (3 rooms later )the room given to us was still dirty and stained . Not suitable for $200
Double check that the pool is usable! As it was not able to be used during our stay and was green! That would tell me that it was not usable for sometime! Would have liked to know that prior to my stay!
Although the area we stayed in was great, there were some sketchy neighborhoods close by. All around the boardwalk is beautiful. I would really like to see a more dog friendly attitude. Places to dine on outdoor patios still wouldn’t allow us to bring the dog.
The unoccupied bldg next door was a little nerve wracking and Not sure if people standing at the top of the driveway were just hanging out there or if it was a bus stop but that made me a little wear specially since traveling alone.
We were there for just one night to have an impromptu family gathering. We had ordered pizzas from Frank Pepe’s - near by. Excellent pizza. Kids loved the pool. Clean and comfy. Good breakfast food selection. Nice employees.
The facility was ok. It meets basic expectations for comfort. Nothing special. The hot breakfast was poor. My friend who stays at Hampton Inns frequently says it was the worst breakfast she has seen at a Hampton. Next time in the area, I would try somewhere else.
