The city is a nice size for visiting many museums. We enjoyed our free walking tour with Marjana and GuruWalk, as it gave us an overview of the city and she had a lot of historical background to share with us.
We are vegetarian and were able to find choices at Arepera Maracay, at Preradovićeva 9, and Gajbica, Ul. Pavla Radića 23 and Biomania,Ul. Ivana Tkalčića 65.

Nice city with beautifull parks streets are clean it is very safe for tourists all Croatia is.If you are staying longer and have nice weather you should go to park maximir which is two kilometres from the central .There is old part of city which is nice good food welcoming people .If you are traveling to other destination nice to stay at listening few days .During summer there are lots of diferent events intresting for tourists.

Zagreb has two epicenters, Ban Jelicica Trg (City center)...
Zagreb has two epicenters, Ban Jelicica Trg (City center) from where you can access amazing restaurants, I would highly recommend Mali Medo and Strukly. Also a great place to buy souvenirs and Croatia's best chocolate: Bajadera! The other epicenter is the Bus Station (Autobusni Kolodvor) from where you can take one day trips to wonderful nearby towns like Somobor . Need to get places? Download the ZET App, loaded up with 10 Euros and take trams everywhere. If you are travelling solo, take 2 days to discover Zagreb - tons of museums, amazing architecture. Have a Struly at The Bistro and visit the botanical gardens and then take a couple of days to visit nearby towns.

We found Zagreb to be very cosmopolitan with the right blend of old and new. There was a good vibe amongst the locals who we found to be pleasant and engaging.Very much worth going off the main streets to find small bars and eateries. Try Plac (Dolac area) for a proper traditional feed. The tram system was easily accessible going to most parts of Zagreb however many of the tourist attractions were accessible by foot.

A good city with plenty to see over 2 to 3 nights and plenty of options for dining and evenings out and good prices with good variety. Recommend a walking Tour on Day 1 as really knowledgeable with good advice and recommendations to find your bearings quickly.

This depends what you want.
This depends what you want. There are places to see/things to do (we particularly enjoyed the chocolate museum), but for us Zagreb was a hub for our transport (from Lake Bled in Slovenia to Dugi Otok (a Croatian island), with several other stops. The 2 full days we spent their worked for us, but our focus was on hiking and kayaking). Were we disappointed to Zagreb. No, it was fine. But it wasn't our holiday focus.

Everything about the hotel was great - very spacious for a family of four. Very modern, clean and sleek - everything you'd want in a new hotel. We loved their Uber partnership as our Uber to and from Zagreb city centre was so cheap (3-5 EUR for a 15 min ride)! We will definitely stay next time we come to Zagreb - the onsite parking (for a 16EUR fee) was great too! We wish we stayed longer to be able to use the rooftop pool and other facilities and amenities but we were leaving for the airport early the next morning.

The hotel is in a very convenient and well-connected location, close to the bus station where airport shuttles stop. It is clean, quiet, comfortable, and modern. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied, and they kindly accommodated us even at an earlier hour, offering additional food options. Highly recommended – we would definitely stay here again!

Very very spacious room with a BIG (shared) balcony in a brand new hotel. Comfortable bathroom and enough power plugs to recharge all your things at once. :) Tram stop in front of the hotel is very convenient to reach the city center.
