Everything was perfect. Great location close to dinner places. Breakfast was fantastic, in the garden setup. Staff very attentive. Upgraded room was superb too.

The room was waaaaay too good. Better that I expected. Everything is so clean, the bed comfortable and really everything in the room is just perfect. The receptionist was too kind with us and also provided a gift for my birthday at the stay (really nice touch and kindness from the hotel). Don't look for more, this is the place you want to sleep once you come back from being outside.

I genuinely loved everything about this place. The location, the host, the view - nothing short of fabulous! The facilities were clean and comfortable, you shouldn't expect a 5-star hotel amenities but for a B&B it was more than respectable. It has a common room with a fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. It also has 2 balconies with fantastic views.

The Hotel Santa Maria is in Trastevere, on the bank of the Tiber River, it is one of the most charming and authentic neighborhoods of Rome's historic center.
