Very clean, modern and didn’t want for anything. Met with a warm welcome. Taken to our room and everything explained. The young staff are a credit to the hospitality industry. The evening meal was huge, brilliant value and delicious. The choice of breakfast is great and a 10.30 check out was a bonus. I also found the bar prices very reasonable, only £4.60 for a rum and coke. If you want a nice chill out as a couple I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the oak hill hotel. Beautiful clean house in a great location. So many places to visit. We went to the Ladybower reservoir and walked around there, lunch at a lovely deli. Visits to Cromford, lovely fish from Habibs😊 and Matlock town very close by. There isn't anything that Catherine hasn't thought of in the house. It is immaculate and comfortable for a stay in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Thank you for the biscuits and milk!

The Snug was spacious and beautifully designed, blending modern style with charming original features. The facilities were top-notch, everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully provided. The nice large sofas made it easy to relax. Communication with hosts was excellent. Overall, it was a great mix of comfort and character.

4 decent rooms, 2 bathrooms. All worked OK. Liked the proximity to walks, river, pubs, cafes, restauranmts of Matlock Bath. Also excellent bus and train links to nearby towns.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Great food in the pub and a beautiful park right behind. We had a spacious room with a beautiful four poster bed.

Large 3 br fully renovated apartment with lovely views and easy walk to town We enjoyed staying here very much ,it has everything you need and excellent value for money...great for families with all that space..
