Location, cleanliness, historical significance, quiet atmosphere despite weddings and meetings. Efficiency, amazing staff, except two male waiters in the lobby who never smiled and were a bit rude. But the rest were all extremely polite

Magpie's Lodge was a warm and welcoming bed & breakfast. The owners Jane & Kevin made us feel as if we were visiting in a friend's home. Our room was spacious and had a lovely seating area, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of room. There was a lovely garden with tables and seats for relaxing, which our room looked out on. Parking was easy and inside their gate. The wifi was easy to use and secure, a television was available, and a refrigerator with fresh milk and water for making tea or coffee in your room. Jane's breakfast had lots of choices - and could not have been more tasty! Slinfold was nearby - and Jane's directions made it easy to find the property. This was an absolutely beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable place to stay. Our favorite of our travels!
