Very pretty. Some practical pros: cutlery and crockery. Nice bathroom. Welcoming tray of sweets and crisps. No reception, so keep an eye on your emails or you may not enter the property. It was very quick though. You get to fill in a form and then get a message with a key code for your room. AI here we come 😀

Comfortable, clean, warm (it was chilly weather) and well located. BUT, ver this walls and felt like we were in the bathroom with our neighbour who was in there most of the night, or so it felt.
Featuring free Wi-Fi and free parking, the Daylesford Central Motor Inn is just a 2-minute walk from restaurants, cafes and shops. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a microwave.

Breakfast was standard fair. . We could walk to all the surrounding areas. Set back from the road was nice as the trucks didnt bother you that much.

Lovely country town, everybody helpful and friendly,...
Lovely country town, everybody helpful and friendly, especially at the hotel. Great little shopping and restaurants, cafes, etc. Beautiful scenery and surrounding areas. unfortunately we didn't have time to visit any spas, but will definitely go again.
The only downfall was the taxi service, which we had ordered to take us to my daughter's wedding. It didn't turn up, and after many phone calls, finally out hotel manager got one for us. Ditto when we left the reception, didnt show. Worse, was the limo that my son-in-in law had organised to take him and my daughter to their accommodation, didn't show after the reception. So everybody left, and they were left standing. Had to get a friend to come and get them, Spoilt a lovely day for them, as he had planned a romantic surprise. No real apology from the company, just refunded the money.

Daylesford is a Rural Victoria gem, filled with art galleries and great shopping, but most of all an awesome atmosphere where everyone is welcomed. The springs are closeby and wellness spas are abundant, as are a host of other attractions, but you will need transport (car/motorbike) to make the most of it.
The annual Pride ChillOut festival over the long labour day weekend is a must, a weekend filled with a host of events and where all the Daylesford businesses get involved. A truly magical time.

It was easy to spend 3 days in Daylesford visiting galleries, parks and the lake area. The food was excellent at the cafes and restaurants I visited, especially The Farmers Arms Hotel which also had a lovely outdoor area. If you’re into second hand shopping, you must visit the Mill Market and op shops too!

Daylesford is wonderful, I visit a few times a year.
Daylesford is wonderful, I visit a few times a year. Lovely restaurants, cafes, shops, people and a superb calmness that is perfect for the soul on a weekend away.
Farmers Arms pub has a great local feel, raffle on a Friday is fun. Convent for scones is a great experience and history lesson. Plenty more to do, if you so desire... but a chilled weekend with great company is the the way I like to experience Daylesford.
Number of bedrooms & bathrooms.
2 of the 3 bathrooms are very modern.
Good supply of large towels, etc.
Milk in fridge on arrival.
Choice of crockery, glassware, etc.
Pet friendly & safe yard.
Doggy bags (even though we had our own, it was thoughtful)
Safe off street parking.
Comfortable large beds, but I think the single beds are for children.
Central heating in main area of house.
Quiet area.
Fantastic sunsets!
Lovely spot on edge of town with paddocks and kangaroos. But only a 2 minute drive from the main street of Daylesford. Lovely garden area and lots of birds. Owners live in adjoining part of cottage and we met them briefly. They were friendly but were respectful of privacy and made us feel very comfortable using table/chairs in garden area. Fire was nice and enjoyed a very comfortable 2 nights.
Excellent location, close to shops, amenities and the Sunday market. Comfortable beds and lots of rooms in the house. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends/family. Lot of books to read in the house and board games if you have time in the evening. There were vases with freshly cut flowers in the house and a bar of Toblerone chocolate, which was a nice touch by the owner, Trish.
Loved the luxury of this property, an amazing place to stay. Styled beautifully & warmly welcomed from Adrian. We loved the little extras in our room, the coffee machine & the Molton Brown products in the bathroom we’re a special touch. Breakfast was amazing & delicious.
Adrian & Charles were wonderful hosts & we look forward to our next stay at The Dudley Boutique Hotel.
The room was nice and clean. The bed was spacious and comfortable. The amenities were in great supply. We love staying in Daylesford at East street. Great spot away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far away from the main street and shops, cafes etc. Also lovely and quiet and great place to relax.
The hotel is at the center of everything and walking distance to various restaurants and shops. The room we stayed at was newly-renovated and has a very minimalistic and industrial design which we loved so much. It looks different from the outside of the room as it was more wooden and vintage.
From memory the breakfast contents were OK. The location was excellent as we were wanting to eat at The Lake House.
Daylesford is a quaint place with great restaurants and facilities. We also stayed up the road at Hepburn Springs but found Daylesford offered more amenities.
Fontaine was the perfect house for our weekend getaway to Daylesford.
The house contained everything we needed.
The house was warm, beds comfortable and plenty of kitchenware to cook for ourselves.
We recommend this property and would rebook it.
A delightful little cottage. Well appointed and we loved the spa bath. We also liked the two separate lounge areas. The cottage was right in the middle of town and and easy walk to Town Centre. Greatly appreciated the pet friendly option.
Location was amazing being right on the lake and next door to the Lake house, the decor was very stylish and I loved the spa bath! It felt like we had our own oasis and staying here made my birthday weekend really special.
Away is a beautiful and comfortable house in a great location. We enjoyed a warm welcoming set up when entering the house, soft music, relaxing light. Will consider booking this house again next time I am in Daylesford.
Wonderful view, warm and comfortable house was perfect base for Daylesford. The kitchen is well-equipped for loads of cooking options. Bathrooms are comfy with excellent hot water.
Such a lovely hotel, really nice room with old school vintage hotel decor. I was a really nice spot with great views from our verandah and tight in the heart of Daylesford.
Gorgeous little cottage at the bottom of the garden run by a lovely couple who live in the main house. We found it perfect for a short getaway in Daylesford.
