Cooma is a great stopover on the way to the snow or down to Gippsland via the Monaro Highway. The Lott cafe does a great coffee & cake and has a yummy all day menu. Cooma is a lovely town. Lots of Cafes. Murphy's was Great! Rosie's was YUM too. The Snowy Visitors centre a great idea to visit. The Salvos store has good clean choices too. The Cooma Thai was delicious and NB is a BYO.

The Monaro is spectacular country and Cooma has plenty of great atmosphere. It's always bustling with lots of activity from locals including graziers and their families coming into town and skiers on their way, or coming back, from the Snowy. Love all the shops and enjoyed dinner at the ex-Servicemen's Club.

Lovely atmosphere in our part of town. The entry from the Canberra side looks as though it is for the young. We were in the old part of the town - much more to my liking (75 yo). Lovely to walk around and wonderful old homes and churches on the top of the hill behind the motel.

Great town at the foot of the snowy mountains. Is quite a bustling small city now with many shops that seems to have thrived/come back to life post Covid. Plenty to see & do, great choice of restaurants & Cafes. It just needs a Dan Murphy's, a Big W & a Hungry Jacks & it would be perfect :-)
