The room was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable and larger than we expected. The location was great. It was just off the main road but nice and quiet with a few good dining options within walking distance. It was only a short drive to Maitland's town centre which worked well for us.

We booked a night here on our roadtrip up north travelling with our 2yo. From the warm hospitality, the complimentary welcome drink, and great atmosphere we knew we landed in the right place. The hotel has Incredible old world charm tastefully decorated and was exceptional value for money. Definitely not a bland, modern hotel thankfully, an increasingly rare find these days. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates an historic space beautifully remodelled that's run by a fantastic couple. The excellent restaurant, live jazz, kitchenette with free coffee, milk (Inc non dairy) treats , cereal etc was fantastic.
At Old Maitland Inn, guests enjoy high speed wi-fi & an outdoor pool, which is open between 9am & 8pm (conditions apply). Off-street parking is available.

Loved the remote check in, took the pressure off confirming an arrival time as I wasn't sure how late into the night I would be. I absolutely loved the location - didn't make it to the included breakfast as got pulled away by the many nearby local eateries but I loved the convenience of the location, the free parking and the easy/private access to my super comfy loft. It was a very lovely and relaxing weekend escape! The communications in the lead up to check in were also incredibly helpful and informative.

The serenity and charm of the cottage was wonderful. We loved the added touch of the Christmas tree as we stayed over the Christmas period. Being able to have our own space while visiting family was wonderful. The cottage was very spacious and welcoming with all the amenities we could want and need.

This is a fairly rural area but close to good shopping facilities in Maitland. The coastal area of Port Stephens is within easy driving access as is Newcastle Airport and the Hunter Valley. This is a popular area for weddings and there are several venues close by. An area well worth visiting!
