The location was very good and a lovely view. The room was a good size and amenities great (shower size, water temp & pressure). Aircon worked really well.

The resort itself is lovely. The apartments are a good size. The view over the pool was nice and you could see the ocean. The balcony was large with sun beds as well as a table and chairs.
The staff were helpful when picking up the keys and when we needed pool towels that were not provided in the room.

A quiet coastal town with BIG beaches and BIG cafes... They were awesome. Sunrise is spectacular and you can enjoy the tanquil moment with a coffee and a book. So close to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast but far enough away to feel you are in your own little world. Clean and quiet. Lowrise units and residential properties so not overcrowded. Bike or walk to all areas of town.

We loved Kingscliff.
We loved Kingscliff. We had plenty to do within walking distance to the Main Street and beaches. The river too was a bonus. The park was great if you have children or just sit and enjoy the ocean view. People were very friendly and enjoyed the local Chiang Mai Thai restaurant. We also went to the Kingscliff hotel and local surf club. Picked up some bargains at the op shops.

Kingscliff is a lovely seaside town with almost a village feel, enough shops and restaurants and clubs for most, friendly people, a nice patrolled beach and the Cudgen creek if you don't like the surf. Close to Coolangatta and the Tweed if you need more people.

The proximity of facilities and shopping/restaurants right over the park from the hotel. Kingscliff is a lovely, relaxed beach village not harmed by high-rises and shopping malls. Great cafes, all the facilities you need with the benefit of a brilliant and not packed out beach.

It was disappointing to say the least.
It was disappointing to say the least. The whole complex is dirty and not well cared for. Parking is a nightmare, as our car just fitted into the parking garage provided. Key to garage door was useless, as it would not lock the garage door. The parking is so tight and directions to your room poor. On our key it said 014, so we looked for room 014 but it meant room 14. Whole complex requires a complete renovation. Not to have an apartment with Air-conditioning in peak summer holidays, made the stay unpleasant. We packed up and booked another accomm, which was clean, with aircon and free Wi-fi. We took photos of the filthy windows and screens, along with mirrors in rooms with hand prints on them and supplied shampoo bottles provided half to near empty in bathrooms. If I was Kingscliff accommodation staff, I would go and inspect the condition of these rooms as its substandard to what we have stayed in Kingscliff prior.

We've been to Salt heaps of times, either with the Mantra or Peppers.
Over the last 25 or so years we've stayed at Peppers around 5 times and the Mantra twice.
To be honest, we do prefer the Mantra as Peppers tends to be a bit cold when you're looking for your rooms. It's also bigger which is a surprise.
Mantra has a small feel about it and the pool has a better vibe.
Lifts are fast, heaps of games to use and absolutely no complaints there.
I discovered a game told by my grandson which is Cornhole.. It's a brilliant game and can be hired from reception, along with table tennis, tennis, chess (the wee nyaff beat me again) and others.
The receptionists are great with smiles on their dials.
Loved the size of the apartment for our family of four. loved having two seperate bathrooms especially with 15 and 12 year old boys.the little homely touches in the kitchen were great!
You couldn’t ask for a better location with the beach right at your front door, delicious restaurants (the Mexican is the best we’ve ever had) just below and being a part of the Mantra complex means you have access to the two awesome pools and the pool bar (happy hour margaritas were so good) 😀
Set in beautiful surroundings. Roomy cabin with aircon and tv in living and bedroom. WiFi also.
Owner welcomed us and then left us to our privacy.
The surrounds were inviting and well maintained. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities but they were adequate for a short stay. Living area was small but outside facilities such as private bbq and table made up for that. Stunning views. Close to Kingscliff and Pottsville. Will definitely go back there.
The property is located in a quiet older area of Kingscliff high on a hill with lovely views of the ocean and surrounding area. It is an easy and good walk to Cudgen Creek reserve and its parklands. A lovely sunset capped off by several black cockatoos flying towards the mountains. The kitchen facilities were ok as it is good to be able to cook when you are not close to restaurants and takeaway on the esplanade.
Had a great time staying here, everything was perfect. We had the room with the pool outside our door and it was so nice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back.
10 minute drive to Kingscliff inlet where the water is absolutely beautiful.
Nice hotel room so very quiet and very clean. The main pool area very relaxing, clean and comfortable. All staff very friendly and helpful. Service always prompt. Couches in main reception very comfortable for afternoon drinks. All food was delicious and we'll presented. Very enjoyable stay
It was very quaint. Had an amazing large window that opened, and you can sit at the counter. Close to the beach and river and if you like walking, you can walk to town or cinderah hotel on the river for something different. Communial kitchen has everything you need that isn't in your room.
Conveniently located within minutes to the wonderful Kingscliff beach and places like Tropical Fruit world. The accommodation is adequate, well equipped and very reasonably priced.
Rick was very helpful and friendly too.
Thank you for our nice short stay away from the busy city life.
Mantra on Salt is a lovely place. The Holiday Management Company let me down with the whole experience. I have stayed at Mantra hotels, many times before in different locations, & they offer a good service, unfortunately this Company does not.
Loved the location and hotel facilities. Plenty on offer for a family. We had both seaview and pool view from our room, with a friendly kookaburra that visited each afternoon. Loved our stay but room facilities needed urgent attention.
Great location- we brought our bikes and locked them in our outside area and explored the neighbouring towns too. Walked to restaurants each night. Lovely area. The hotel hot spa was useful too! Thanks for the memories x
Location perfect, overlooking the river. 650 metres to shops etc. Bed very comfortable, aircon & ceiling fans great. Kingscliff an excellent place to holiday.
