Beautiful location on a Cliff top overlooking the ocean.
Beautiful location on a Cliff top overlooking the ocean. Lovely one bedroom house well appointed with all facilities and big windows out to the ocean. Plenty of wood for an open fire. Good facilities. We took all of our own food as it is a 6 km drive into the house on a dirt road. Highly recommend

Such a beautiful place to stay.
Such a beautiful place to stay. The blowhole was fantastic, and the sea views spectacular. The little village was charming and the locals were so friendly and helpful. The Lobster Shack is a must go. I enjoyed a bubbly while waiting for my order. Gorgeous views. Would definitely come and stay again - for much longer than last time.

Unfortunately other travellers had advised to go to the lobster shack for a meal which we did but we found this quite pricey and was just loaded with mainly chips. The view from the viewing point at whalers lookout was spectacular
Shane's messages were amazing regarding access- Thank you!
The accommodation was close to central business district and included scenic views and access to the beach.
There was a heat pump and very clean floors and all the basics.
The room was away from noise and noisy guests and had 2 beds per my request.
modern artwork in the room was enjoyable for the theme of the town.
The sunrise was the best I have seen in Tasmania and on my to-do list for years
Very relaxing!
The Lookout is a fabulous property. It was so comfortable and welcoming. It is really well appointed and beautifully furnished. The location is stunning, with amazing views from the upper bedroom. It is very private and there is direct access to a section of rocky coastline through the garden.
Easy walk into Bicheno centre as well.
Top marks. Thank you.
Nice, clean and neat. Great location that is in the centre of Bicheno. Perfect for group or family. They got a full set of cutlery and cookery which are perfect, if you decided to spend indoor time cooking nice meal (BBQ set supplied). The decor and lighting are amazing, they have set the comfort to the next level.
The cute cabin had amazing views of sheep and the ocean. The best part was the location to the beach where it’s just a stroll down to see the penguins! We are big animal people and this was by far the highlight of our trip. It is also very close to the main part of Bicheno!
Incredible value for money. Clean rooms and shower, friendly guests an incredible shared view by the living area. Free parking available, few steps away from market, pharmacy and other commerce, few minutes walk from Bicheno Blowhole.
Truly recommended.
Up the Back was our favorite accommodation on our Tasmanian trip.
The house was clean, spacious and very comfortable.
It was very well equipped and the washing machine was most appreciated.
The location was very quiet and the sea view was lovely.
Penguin! Penguin! Penguin! This is the only reason we booked this place! Other than that, it is just a few minutes drive away from the town and short walk to the beach. There's plenty of birds in the hotel compound and our kid loves chasing them.
Decent motel. Comfortable beds, good price if with others (my room had space for four people, but I was solo). Fun pub next to it to sit at the bar and chat to the locals. 30 minute drive to Coles Bay and right next to the Bicheno penguin tour.
Very comfortable accommodation fro our 4 night stay in Bicheno. Well equiped, comfortable furniture and beds, clean, close to everything in Bicheno and excellent communications with our host Gill. Very much enjoyed our stay.
Cod Rock was our favourite accommodation while travelling Tasmania. Beautiful home, fabulous views, wonderful location and so many thoughtful touches throughout. We loved it and would highly recommend.
- It is centrally located, 8 minutes walk from Bicheno Penguin Tours and 4 minutes from the Lobster Shack
- The apartment was spacious with a separate bedroom
- It has beautiful sea view with a deck
Great location, very clean and functional. An easy stroll to town and beach. I'm pretty fussy, but I would be very happy to recommend this place to friends and family.
Perfect location quiet all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Access to the beach and penguin viewing. One of the best places to stay in tasmania.
Very family friendly. We have stayed in a few places at Bicheno and this place is our best to date. We saw a whale from the lounge room at Peggy’s point.
