The excellent restoration of this magnificent Victorian building shows how clever and considerate are the owners. They have incorporated luxury comfort without losing the features of the building, and the modern extension to the property blends seamlessly. Throughout the place are cosy reading nooks and a marvellous and eclectic selection of fabulous books, art and memorabilia, placed always to enhance the sense of design. The owners are warm and friendly and add to the overall sense of welcome and serenity. The weekend continental breakfast was excellent. Overall we felt a sense of calm in this lovely place.

I would have liked to have walked in the downtown area but I didn't know how to pay for parking.
The main purpose of being in Ballarat was to visit Sovereign Hill which we could have spent so much more time at. This was better than we had expected.
Friendly staff, great performances and there was a feeling of going back to different times in history.

Ballarat is a historical gem, it reeks of history everywhere you go and is easy to get around. The restaurants, cafes, pubs and people we met were all great. We have been several times now and we will go back as the region has plenty to offer . If you go in winter, rug up.

I was thrilled that the begonias in the botanic gardens were still in full bloom ( mid April) . I was moved by the exhibit on the Eureka Stockage. I was impressed with the large number of elegant historic buildings in the city.

Ballarat is a great place to visit with so many things to see and do, great restaurants and in a lovely part of Victoria surrounded by lovely towns and country experiences - Daylesford, Creswick, Clunes etc
Beautiful courtyard in the centre of the apartments to look out into from the lounge room. Tables & chairs outside for when the sun comes out. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Clean apartment. Daily servicing if required. Quiet & beautiful surroundings in whole hotel complex. Service station & meal options nearby. Our main reason for booking was a reasonable price in school holidays when others triple the price. Right opposite Sovereign Hill which is great for families. We’ll be back!
Sovereign Park Motor Inn Beautiful hotel with excellent accommodation, also very clean, its entertainment areas are very good for children and adults. It has a restaurant where all its dishes are delicious.
At the same time Hector was very kind to my entire family and made us feel at home. Thanks Hector
The hotel is simply superb in every way and rare to find, from the warm welcome we received, the breakfasts and the hospitality we were shown. The owners have created a paradise in what was just an old building. We would recommend Hotel Vera to anyone travelling to the Ballarat region.
The room was spacious, I liked that it had a separate living area. The hotel team is very friendly and did their best to accommodate for our needs. I like that they stock up the room with breakfast basics every day (bread, cereals, jam, butter, coffee, milk, joice etc.)
Excellent value for money. Large room with comfortable couch, well appointed kitchen, spa bath and shower..... all for $125 on a Friday night. I haven't seen value like this since pre 2019. And outside the hotel entrance is a fabulous pub .
This hotel is located in the heart of Ballarat, walking distance to pubs and restaurants and right across the road from the Gallery.
The bathroom was modern, room clean, with the options of room service.
Id stay here again.
Great location. Great service and a very warm and welcoming person at the front desk. This was the best hotel we stayed in on our road trip around Victoria. We will stay here again next time we visit Ballarat.
I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel , I was very happy with the friendly warm greeting I received on arrival.
I will definitely stay there every time I need accommodation in Ballarat .
Highly recommend it
Location excellent. All staff were friendly & helpful! Food at restaurant was excellent! Ambience of hotel was excellent. We would definitely stay at Oscars next time we come to Ballarat.
Comfortable, clean and well appointed. Central location and walking distance to many facilities in Ballarat. Plenty of apartments for staying near family and friends for a wedding.
Spacious, handy kitchen for some simple family meals. Fresh towels/clean bins after our first night ( only stayed for 2 nights, most motels we stayed in didn't bother to check)
What a lovely family friendly park! The staff and facilities were great, our cabin was very spacious and the kids were kept safely entertained during our visit.
Easy walk to Sovereign Hill but also very central to other popular attractions. Room was nice and warm when we arrived. Lots of space for our family of 4.
Perfect hotel where I need to stay in Ballarat for long weekend. Reasonable budget price. Friendly staffs. Comfortable bed. Great hot shower. Thank you.
