The cottage was very quaint and had everything we could need. The kids loved the choice of board games and the breakfast basket was very generous with lovely local produced goodies.

We loved the chicks behind the accommodation and the lamb and kid my daughter was able to feed. We collected chicken and duck eggs. Enjoyed exploring the farm and meeting all the animals (chickens, cows, lambs, sheep, pigs, goats, kids, guinea fowl and wild wallabies and birds).
Relaxing holiday for families who enjoy outdoors. Close to Girraween National Park, and a beautiful walk along the river through the middle of town. The Christmas Tree Farm is an enchanting place to visit at any time of the year. We have been to Stanthorpe a few times and love being in a country town away from the city for a while. Food is great! Whether eating at a pub or a local restaurant you’ll get a lovely meal that is great value for money too. The wineries and boutique food producers are fun places to go to as well. It is impossible to say no to a lot of their products - we couldn’t anyway! There is a museum there but we’re saving it for the next time we visit.😊

A widespread choice of activities related to wine and fruit and cheese but with disparate activities such as breathtaking National Park walks within a short drive, a fantastic Christmas Farm that is definitely worth a visit and an overall selection of top shelf dining experiences but with all tastes catered for. The Granite Belt Brewery had incredibly good food, the cheeses were outstanding, as our cool bag can attest. We will be back, and soon, as there is so much more to see. Lovely people too.

Stanthorpe and surrounds are just lovely (especially in the cooler months) with food and wine tours, art and crafts, antiques and more. People are friendly and there is lots to see. Locals even recommended other towns and points of interest to visit (like Warwick and Tenterfield), markets and places to explore. Girraween National Park, Donnelly’s Castle are great spots to check out the massive and precarious boulders - a spectacular natural feature of the area. Cafe at Ballandean St Jude’s Cellar Door and Bistro made a delicious Sunday breakfast - busy with locals, bike riders, and visitors alike (quite busy). Tried to get into a couple of restaurants in Stanthorpe town but they were booked out (Anna’s Italian Restaurant came recommended, but we missed out)! Have been back to the region over they years and always find something new to see or do… but also enjoy returning to some favourite spots.

Most attractions we visited met our expectations.
Most attractions we visited met our expectations. Stanthorpe has a wide range of wineries, spectacular national parks, a wonderful Christmas shop ( trees as well) and a visit in winter is extra nice. I
The breakfast was very substantial & loved the local produce provided. Lynne's rocky road was a real hit too:) Chris & Lynne made us feel so welcome as did their adorable fur baby Ripley. We've spent many weekends in Stanthorpe over the years but can confidently say that we'll definitely stay here again on our next return trip. The little things always leave a big impression so thankyou Chris & Lynne for your lovely hospitality, welcome letter & bottle of wine for our anniversary.
Our Honeysuckle cottage was a great setup and spacious cottage. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed riding around Stanthorpe, great way to see the area and the riding roads are very good (lots minor roads). On arrival we received an enormous and fabulous basket of breakfast foods for our stay – eggs, bacon, jams, bakery, cereal, coffee… wow! Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
Nice place to visit!
I liked the condition and look of the accommodation, it was perfect for it's location. It looked like the pictures on-line, the fire place made it really cosy and comfortable. Everything you needed to cook with was in the kitchen, we really didn't need to bring anything. The grounds were beautifully kept and I loved standing out on the balcony looking at them and Stanthorpe.
very convenient to everything in Stanthorpe and the inside is very well done. It looks like a basic workers cottage from the outside but inside they have done a good job to make it look lovely. The little soaps from Washpool were a nice touch. Also having the reverse cycle air cons in the bedroom made for a very warm and cosy night. And all the firewood was supplies as well.
The cottage was perfect for a short getaway to Stanthorpe. Julie made it very cosy with all the little touches, beautiful cosy blankets to snuggle into, lots of extras in the kitchen and plenty of local tips. Easy walking distance to the Main Street. Nothing was too much trouble, even when we left our iPad there and she’s organised express post to return it for us.
Location is very convenient and close to the main street of Stanthorpe but in a quiet neighbourhood , the house was beautiful and spotlessly clean , but also perfectly appointed with everything you need including board games and books , even a BBQ on the large deck along with an outdoor table setting and a fire pit outside
Great place to stay when visiting Stanthorpe! The 1 bedroom chalet is very clean, modern and is furnished with quality appliances and furniture.
The complimentary fresh apples and continental breakfast is enjoyable. Fireplace is setup ready to be lit up.
I highly recommend this place, definitely will be back. Thanks
The location was perfect; close to town and the cabins were nestled in amongst the trees. The sunset view from the top of the property was to die for and well worth the 10 minute walk to the top. A breakfast of cereal and toast was complimentary as well.
This motor Inn had a great location. Only a very short walk or drive into the Main Street. Grounds were in perfect condition and very well looked after. Hotel staff fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable.
Loved the style of the house and location.
It was only for two nights but it was perfect.
Will definitely recommend it to anyone on holidays in Stanthorpe.
