Room on ground level and accepted dogs - so great for us. Value could have been better but we did travel in peak season. Room was clean and modern. Location was great and central to everything we needed for a short stop over. Bowling club discount was a great bonus! Lady let us check in an hour early, which was great given the wet weather.

Ballina Beach Nature Resort, hotel in Alstonville

Located in Ballina, a 6-minute walk from South Ballina, Ballina Beach Nature Resort provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

I cannot believe how lucky I am to be have discovered this place. It is a little haven right next to the beach, the perfect balance of luxury and nature. I arrived here after a long road trip and Justine the night manager was super helpful making sure my late check-in was smooth and efficient. I loved it so much I wanted to book an extra night but unfortunately it was fully booked. I can't wait to go back there again and spend some more time when they have a vacancy

Alstonville is a very pretty country town with friendly people and a great atmosphere. Some nice shops and a couple of good coffee places which serve a good breakfast, We prefer to stay here rather than Lismore which is only about twenty minutes away. Dinner at the Plateau Bowls Club is very good.

Alstonville is a beautiful town and very well maintained.

Alstonville is a beautiful town and very well maintained. Plenty of services offered and places to eat for such a small place. Great coffee and bakery. The town pool was immaculate with a heated 25m and heated outdoor 50m pool - early morning swim was a highlight. Great spot to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. This is a beautiful part of the world and well worth a visit.

An extremely friendly ,pretty village with a great pub and fish shop . There is also a dentist, medical centre and a Coles food store along with the usual speciality shops. It is close to Ballina with its lovely river and beaches. I would suggest you definitely need a car to enjoy the drives in the area which are well worth doing.

This was an interesting place to stay in Alstonville. Waking up to a green paddock and the inquisitive faces of a number of cows looking in to the kitchen was a bonus :) The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and a generous size. The kitchen was very useful and I appreciated the milk left in the fridge. It was raining when I left and the carport had a shade cloth over it so I did get a little wet but it didn't really bother me. This was a handy place to stay as I had some personal jobs to complete in Lismore and Ballina the next day.

Donelle and Rik made us feel so welcome and the property was absolutely beautiful with breath taking views. There was a great choice for breakfast and it was a very generous servings. We went there to relax and that is exactly what we got. 71 Dillons Lane was in a great location, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but you were only 5 minute drive from Alstonville town centre. Highly recommend staying at 71 Dillons Lane and look forward to returning.

A great location for where we needed to be for the weekend. Good access to Alstonville town and services. Very clean, if somewhat dated bathroom. Room generally well appointed, if dated. Bed comfortable and the heater worked well on a cold night. Self catering gear was good - we made our own breakfast and it was nice to have a table to sit at to eat it. There is a lovely view of the sunset from the front porch area.

We loved our stay at alstonville country cottages. The view , the cabin , the facilities , all exceeded our expectations. We arrived half hour early , but were allowed into the cabin. The donkeys and goats were fun for the kids and the walk to the duckpond was beautiful , besides a few muddy spots from the rain.

We had a wedding at Summerland so the hotel was a perfect location. The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to check in early and check out a little later. We shared a family room with my parents who babysit our baby while we attended the wedding

Great motel with everything we needed for an overnight stopover. Perfectly clean, comfy bed, nice and quiet. Great to find a motel with enough parking space to be able to leave our camper hitched to the car. Alstonville is a beautiful little town.
