The privacy, the cleanliness, and location to the beach. Friendly animals. Very much the atmosphere of the island. Host Pearl was wonderful.
I would totally recommend this place.
The Little Polynesian Resort is a small boutique hotel, located directly on a white sandy beach. The resort offers bungalow style accommodations, beautiful gardens and a great beach.

Our trip was amazing, however there was one theme that was a huge put off. Some of the places we went had absolutely horrible attitudes towards us. Rude with no greetings and sour faces, it is not nice to be treated like that. This was NOT at every place we went but it was enough times to stand out.
Apart from that....it was a fun filled trip

Rarotonga is a great place to visit.
Rarotonga is a great place to visit. Its layed back and the weather is very nice. The beaches are great. We ate at Supper Browne in Tupapa at their cafe which was reasonably cheap steak meal. The local food on the early morning on Sunday was fantastic. Going to the movies could be good for young couples to spend some quality time without being too occupied with big expensive activities.

Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga.
Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga. Also did a day trip to Aitutaki. Both places were great for snorkelling, need water shoes to protect your feet from the coral.
Night markets offered delicious food.
We used the local bus to get around the island.

There is something special about this place.
There is something special about this place. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we felt so relaxed and welcomed. We stayed at Club Raro Resort (Adults Only) and I can only speak highly about this accommodation. They have amazing staff and the restaurant offers the BEST ribs on the island! Rarotonga is so relaxed and peaceful, all the locals and business's are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. You can use your New Zealand dollars, so no need for exchanging money before your trip. Easy to get around the island via rental car, scooter, bike or bus. Koka Lagoon Cruises were excellent! Four hours of fun, beautiful fish to see, snorkeling, yummy lunch and an entertaining show on an island. Happy Hour at The Edgewater Resort were a great price and so good. I've been here twice now and Raro will continue to be my annual holiday from now on.
We had a lovely seaview room that looked out across the top of other resort buildings, out to the ocean. Our room was very clean, very comfortable and all that we needed. It was excellent value for money. We had a couple of meals at the restaurant and particularly loved the Ika Mata. The absolute standout at the Castaway Resort was the staff. Before, during and upon check out they were outstanding and are truly an asset to the resort and as representatives of Rarotonga. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.
We loved the facilities as it catered so well for my little family. We also loved the location it was perfect close to muri night markets and the beach. It was everything we could of asked for and more definately was beyond our expectations x also the staff were super friendly and whenever we needed something fixed they went above and beyond for. We are grateful to have such an awesome team look after us whilst we were in the Cook Islands ❤️ we will definately be staying here again !
Quiet, clean, and in a perfect location. The apartments have a beautiful view of the lagoon. They have kayaks and snorkeling gear that you can borrow. It is within walking distance of markets and restaurants, and the bus stop is nearby too. The apartments have everything you need; a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, fans, or air conditioning too. Desiree is wonderful, and she will leave you bananas and bread your first night too. Just Paradise!
The accommodation was beautiful and very well kept, quiet and gave great views from the rooms over the pool to the lagoon and from the restaurant across the pool to the lagoon. Very modern facilities, good beach access and pool facilities.
All staff were friendly and very helpful with all our needs. Great location to Muri Beach Village and all this beautiful part of Rarotonga has to offer.
Would 110% stay at Moana Sands Lagoon Resort again!
We loved the environment and the experience! Staying at JO's Farmstay definitely made our trip unforgettable. Odette and Joe are the best hosts, they go the extra mile to make you have the best Rarotonga experience. Don't miss out on the breakfasts, they're delicious and a great way to connect with them and other guests and to learn things about Raro. We will definitely be back!
Staff go above and beyond to provide guests with the highest level of support.
It has become like a ‘second home’ as I have visited Rarotonga a number of times and love staying at the Edgewater.
It’s very clean and comfortable.
It has become rather expensive like a lot of accommodation on Rarotonga as prices have risen.
Special thanks to Tametoa and Martha.
Kindest Regards
Anni
The staff were amazing! Nothing was too much to ask. Food portions were very generous, don’t be put off by the price. Facilities were clean. The massage my wife had was the best she had in years. Great location, we didn’t do any day tours but saw all the fish and turtles we needed to snorkelling in front of the hotel. Great to have free use of Watersport equipment.
Pacific Palms Luxury Villa was most amazing. It exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was just as the photos show. Close to wigmores store and great food outlets. Viamaanga Beach was idyllic with great snorkeling. A short bus or car ride to Muri Beach. We will definitely choose Pacific Palms Luxury Villa again when returning to Rarotonga.
Well located at Aroa beach with one of the best beachside snorkelling you will have in Rarotonga. Complimentary snorkel gear, kayaks, paddle boards were also useful.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Attached to the Rarotongan hotel, it is good for a getaway side due to it being adults only.
Good air conditioning, decent restaurant.
A little dated but a quiet and adult only resort. The staff was the best I experienced in a long time. They really treated you as family. The location was good, especially if you like whale watching. It was nearing the end of the whale season but many were still present and we could see them from our room.
Rudy and Kanoe were amazing hosts…. this was our 5th stay in Rarotonga and by far the best… filtered water was provided, a good hotspot for internet and they were more than happy to help with anything... fresh fruit was also given. They were kind and thoughtful and we will be back for sure….
The accommodations were excellent! Of all the locations we have stayed at, the villa was absolutely one of the best. Catherine was very helpful and friendly. The soaking pool was really nice after a day of adventure on the island.
Great value for money, and just a 7 minute drive to Muri beach. The hosts were super helpful and friendly too! Would recommend especially for couples who aren't looking to stay at a pricey resort.
the location is amazing. i had one of the best snorkelling experience right here at The Rarotongan. The snorkel gear provided is in great condition. The sunset view there is to die for
The atmosphere is awesome especially around the pool. You always feel welcomed by the hotel matrons and the hospitality is the best! Thank you for everything!
