The room was very pleasant, the grounds were wonderful. We saw numerous birds while simply relaxing on the patio. And the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended!

So beautiful, serene, remote. Its magical there! But what is more magical is the lovely host, Carla. She went above and beyond to make our one night stay on the way to la fortuna amazing. I wish we were able to stay there longer. Our car got stuck in a river coming in and Carla helped us find someone to tow it out within a couple of hours. We felt so bad but she didnt make us feel bad. She exuded kindness and hospitality. Note, make sure you read her directions on getting there. We missed that message, and waze told us to go across a very low running creek, but our car got stuck on a rock. Apparently, there is a detour that waze didn't know about. One of the guests ended up saving the day! Carla made dinner for us after that ordeal, even though it was technically after the dinner time closed. Her cooking is amazing for both dinner and breakfast. We had a guided nature walk the following morning before leaving which was also super fun! The dome was magnificent. It is about a five minute walk from the reception, but honestly, you would be safe leaving extra luggage in your car. This place is very isolated from the outside world and very safe. We wish we stayed there longer. Next time, Carla!

The owners are the absolute nicest people! The cabins are incredibly beautiful with artistic handmade details. At night it was so peaceful, and in the morning we got to watch monkeys just outside our cabin swinging in the trees. We had our breakfast next to the mineral springs with no other visitors around, while the owners made our breakfast just for us that was out of this world! We then took a dip in their springs before they opened for day visitors, and walked on their forest trail. They were quick to communicate on WhatsApp when I had questions, and they had a beer waiting for us after a long day of travel. I highly recommend El Valle Mineral Springs, especially if you're making your way from San Jose to La Fortuna.

This property is RIGHT in nature. The room is cemented so not too many bugs inside but outside yes. The host was SO sweet and brought me bananas and limes from the property. She is really great and had amazing communication. Thank you!

    This is a busy typical CR centre with little to offer in the way of browsing or touristy type things. Really good handmade souvenirs in store opposite city park. The museum is open Tues to Sat. We missed it, so I can't comment on that. The weather was cold, foggy and at times windy (this was mid Jan). That's all I can think of!

    It's weird that this zone is not as popular as other famous touristic zones like Monteverde and Dota. The beautiful views of the pacific gulf, and the green of its mountains and trees is as good as those places.

    What a wonderful place to stay! Not knowing this part of Costa Rica and its people, we met great and friendly people at this hotel. Wonderful nature around the hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Kindhearted staff. Although the weather was not that ideal for end of december it was a good decision to stay here! Looking forward for the next time!

    We loved the stay here. Food tasty. Beautiful swimming pool with amazing view on mountains and ocean. People very very friendly. Our room neighbours returned here and we are ready to return as well. In our 15days trip in Costa Rica, this is the best hotel we stayed so far, highly recommended.

    The location was nice in the heart of San Ramon close to all the stores and restaurants, yet on a quiet street. The apartment is nice and spacious and everything we needed was there. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable.
