Close to stores, supermarkets, buses, and underground. The staff was very nice and there was always someone available at the reception area. Housekeeping came every day to clean the rooms and provide towels.

Breakfast was one of the best I have had when traveling, in a very elegant space. The staff are so helpful, helping with my distant German -- and of course they speak excellent English. The hotel has a fascinating history. When booking, I was doubtful about the location, as it seemed far from sights. However, public transportation works so well, whether trains from Grunewald station (a sweet little station a pleasant 20 min walk away), or via busses to nearby stations, including Grunewald. The hotel is in a delightful upscale leafy suburb and worth the travel time. The pool in the old cellar/air raid shelter is very nice, as is the sauna.

    When renting the room through bookin, it was written that breakfast was included, but breakfast was not included. The hotel is located in a slightly remote but quiet place. The female staff at the entrance could have been a little more friendly.

    Friendly Staff, forest with many paths for walking or joging near hotel, bus stops near hotel, warm bread rolls for breakfast, free parking space, no keys for rooms, just a code - great idea!
