Calpe has everything you need for a good holiday. A lovely beach, historic Old Town, great bars and restaurants and a good choice of shops. We ate in a variety of restaurants, food was excellent and prices varied according to the menu. We stayed in early June, there was only a life guard on the beach at the weekend. The lady in the tourist office in the old town was very informative. Easily accessible from Benidorm by bus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely resort. Good beaches with fine sand and clear water.
Lovely resort. Good beaches with fine sand and clear water. Nice cliff walks with wonderful scenery. Plenty of restaurants to choose from with very reasonable prices. Good connection to other resorts for day trips mainly by train or local bus.
Went to climb the rock and only went half way as found the rocks were slippery and as mentioned you do need walking boots and not just trainers as we tried to do.

Calpe was lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants.
Calpe was lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants. We had our Maltese pooch with us and he was made very welcome.
Plenty of lovely walks around, beautiful scenery, you need good comfortable shoes. We stayed in the Old Town, this was interesting and pretty. Shout out to a fabulous restaurant: El Santo in the old town, made us very welcome and lovely food. We found Calpe to be extremely clean and friendly. :)

We enjoy walking and there were so many places to walk to.
We enjoy walking and there were so many places to walk to. Les Bassetes has a lovely cafe/bar. The old town is great to walk around as is the port area.
Playa del Arenal-Bol seems to get mentioned a lot in articles on Calp but we enjoyed Platja de la Fossa. This is the "other side" of Ifach and has many cafes and shops.
And then of course there is Ifach itself. I recommend booking a day to visit before you leave home.
The tram enabled us to visit Benidorm, Altea and Denia.

Calpe, nestled on the Costa Blanca, feels like it’s straight out of a postcard. Let me share our impressions:
Picturesque Views: The town boasts a dramatic rocky headland and palm-dotted beaches, all kissed by the Mediterranean waters. It’s a visual treat for anyone who appreciates natural beauty.
Beachside and Harbor Delights: We found the beachside and harbor area to be the prettiest part of Calpe. Strolling along the waterfront, watching boats sway, and feeling the sea breeze—it was idyllic.
Avoiding Crowded Center: However, we’re not fans of the crowded central area and bustling promenade. For us, the quieter corners near the beach and port held more appeal.
In summary, Calpe offers a delightful blend of ancient history, scenic wonders, and modern comforts. Whether you’re a nature lover or seeking relaxation, this coastal gem has something to offer.

Plenty of excellent shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
Plenty of excellent shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Lovely walk to the Calpe rock. Easy car journey to Altea and Moraira.
Especially enjoyed walking uphill to the old town. Loved the restaurant "La Cena" and the "il Posit. Walking the sea front in Altea and up to the old church was super.
Very, very clean (one of the best I've ever stayed). Super friendly host. Nice kitchen with everything you need to cook, or just make coffee/tea/etc. Good bathroom (shower, no tub) with great water pressure. Lovely dining room table and nice chairs. We didn't use the TV or Wifi, but they were both there with instructions, etc. The location is good overall. Very close to Mercadona, which is handy. And about 10-15 minutes walking to most restaurants and the main beaches.
-great value for money
-very helpful and smiling staff (helped me get transportation early morning back to the airport)
-many options available at the hotel restaurant
-large room and confortable bed (mine with fantastic sea view from the balcony)
-big bathroom and a lot of space for the clothes and suitcases
-the fact that there is a swimming pool even though I didn't use it
-supermarkets very close by
Great value. Nice modern clean room, a good size and well furnished. The location in perfect right in the centre of Calpe and a short walk from the bus station. Everything efficient and organised. The roof terrace was superb, a great space and with free coffee and snacks available, as well as the ability to prepare food and use of fridge. If only this was more common. Highly recommended.
Beautiful old building renovated to a good standard. Our spacious room was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the street. Friendly staff. Located in the heart of Calpe old town with some great restaurants very close by. Good wifi. Although breakfast isn't offered in the hotel, they have an arrangement with a local nearby cafe, very reasonably priced.
It has a front row seat view to Calpe’s famous mountain, no obstruction at all. Plus proper beach views. The place is modern & fully equipped. The style of the house is modern boho rustic chic & the owners made sure to make it homey as well. The location is unbeatable. I’ll absolutely stay there again if we’re back in Calpe!
Super comfortable, friendly, small hotel right in the centre of Calpe. The room was modern, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was large, modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly. The roof terrace was beautiful and the free coffee, tea, wine, and cakes was a lovely touch. All in all an excellent hotel.
I like the location the most. It's close to the heart of Calpe but being a block away means it's quieter. We like to walk and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The Arenal Bol beach is less than 10 minutes from the hotel on foot. We didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on that.
Villa Fina was really good villa where to be with family and friends. The house is big and everyone have their own personal space. Also was house clean and the view to the Calpe was amazing!
Check-in and check-out was so easy! Person in the office was so helpful and pleasant person.
We are very appreciative of them taking our booking on the day of check in, after a different place cancelled on us last minute. The place was immaculately clean, the welcome was great and all the facilities you need are there.
Next time we are back in Spain we plan to re-book.
This is a beautiful hotel in the perfect location in Calpe. Super modern inside, rooms are very large for the price. Will be back over and over. Free water and snacks while you check in. Amazing views and rooms. Ideal location. Large soft beds. One of the best I have stayed at.
Remote controlled access to the overall compound gives added security. Good Location, quiet area, easy to get to Calpe and other parts of that region. Nice view, good facilities in the villa. Nice size private pool. Ideal for a family of up to 6.
Reserved parking space.
Staff were all very helpful. I had bed and breakfast. The choice at breakfast was excellent. The room was very comfortable and was made up daily. I will stay again and recommend the hotel as a place to stay in Calpe.
Nice location at end of beach strip. Bus service stopped outside hotel from Calpe Tram station. Port & town relatively easy walking distance. Nice little swimming pool. The included breakfast was quite generous.
Great location. Walking distance to all great places in Calpe. Spacious room. Good Wi-fi. Car parking just at the street next to the hotel - at that time of the year (off-season) parking for free.
It was an absolutely beautiful hotel. Would definitely visit again! Would recommend highly to both couples and families. Staff were extremely helpful! Calpe is such a lovely resort.
Air con in the rooms and hotel lobby. Breakfast. The rooms were exceptionally silent, hotel built very different none of the noise from other rooms travelled through.
