The Villa Dama De La Sierra is set in a stunning position overlooking some of the prettiest whitewashed villages in Andalusia. Having spectacular views of the mountains and the coast from Malaga Bay in the West to Nerja in the East. As the sun begins to set, you will start to feel the fresher cooler mountain air and as the shadows lengthen, then give way to truly breath-taking sunsets. The villa is situated on the hillside in the National Park on the footpath to La Maroma, at 2069m (6,828ft) the highest point in the Malaga region. The mountain range provides a perfect backdrop to the villa, with magnificent sea views that extend to North Africa on clear days. The setting is beautiful, very quiet, private and not overlooked, with no background noise from any roads. We are located by the side of a private lane, used by emergency vehicles accessing the National Park. An ideal base from which to explore the area, go to the beach, walk-in the hills, or just relax by the private pool. Get the barbie on, kick back, have a glass of chilled wine with your friends and family, smile! You have found paradise.

We decided to buy our own Villa in Spain and design and build our own holiday experience. It had to be suitable for all of us to use and enjoy coming year after year. One of the main reasons for choosing this area of Spain was for the weather (the best climate in Europe). It is also superbly located to lots of different activities that we really enjoy, skiing; golf; paragliding; walking; horse riding; kite surfing you get the idea, lots to do and see. The Villa must comfortably accommodate the nine of us to give us plenty of room, so that we are not tripping over each other and invading each other’s space. 13 years on and now 6 grand children we all still love coming and hate leaving.
