Beautiful building in a great location. Our room was very comfortable with a very spacious comfortable bed and a pretty bathroom. The decor throughout the hotel was very attractive and the small outdoor terrace was a great place to enjoy the late afternoon sun. Good WiFi too.
The hotel is housed in a Renaissance-Gothic building from the 16th century, and is one of the town´s most important and emblematic buildings, that was originally the Count and Countess' (Salcedos´

Practically everything. But especially the warm atmosphere and the location. Staff was excellent as well
El Hotel Campos de Baeza has a summer rooftop pool with spectacular views of the Guadalquivir Valley and Baeza Cathedral. The town's historic center is a 10-minute walk away.

Elegant hotel just outside of town (walking distance) with excellent views of orchards and the valley below. Very good breakfast, free parking with overflow across the street.
This hotel is located in the countryside just outside the beautiful cities of Baeza and Úbeda. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a private balcony.

We liked the location of the hotel as it was not necessary to go off our route. Large carpark. Staff were friendly. Popular reasonably priced bar/restaurant.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in to Baeza.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in to Baeza. We were there for two full days & soaked up all of the history whilst walking easily around the town. The staff in the information centre were extremely helpful as was the staff member in the Bullring.
Its a photographers paradise!
We had breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of cafes to choose from to eat and drink. There is an amazing little cake shop / cafe / bar directly opposite the San Pablo church definitley worth a try! The first night we ate at La Barberia near to the cathedral. The staff were very informative and full of life and the food was delicious. Very relaxing.
The second night we had a reservation at Alejandrea but sadly they had to cancel due to staff illness. However we did have drinks and tapas earlier in the afternoon at this place, the service was excellent and the tapas were delicious even accommodating me being vegetarian.
There are plenty of lovely hotels close by to amenities and monuments.
Top tip wear comfortable walking shoes.

Baeza and Úbeda are worth visiting if you like small Spanish towns hidden in olive fields. Baeza is perfect for a 2-3 days vacation, do go and walk on Plazza de la Constitution and take a tour to visit olive oil factories. You need a car to visit nearby ( Puente del Obispo is 10 K away but a nice spot). Good and affordable restaurants in the city. Not recommended if you are on a wheelchair. DO NOT WEAR high heels because the streets are paved. Wear a hat in summer. On Sundays all shops are closed. Buy local olive oil at the store near office of tourism. Food wise go for meat rather than fish because this is the region's specialty and fish is probably 2 days old.

For a short stay we found Baeza exceptionally interesting.
For a short stay we found Baeza exceptionally interesting. The historic centre is quite compact (which may be the reason that Taxis are almost non-existent), and there are several other places further out, within 15 minutes walk, including an ancient Bull Ring a convent and some more churches, very much worth a look. Do not miss the amazing view from the Mirador overlooking the vale of the Guadalquivir! Plenty of places to eat, drink, and snack at any time of day. Very helpful Tourist Office in the square near the cathedral.

A unique renaissance gem.
A unique renaissance gem. Many historic and architecturally interesting buildings. Numerous good quality restaurants and bars. The Cafe Central Teatro is excellent for a good range of cocktails and an eclectic and striking atmosphere. Baeza is a very easy city to walk around in an hour or two. Thoroughly recommended.

A superb compact Medieval town with much influenced by Italian Rennaissance architecture. I wish we could have stayed another day longer!
Unfortunately we only had time to walk around for three ghours as we had to meet up in Madrid that evening and therefore no chance to taste the local fare!

While Baeza has a beautiful historic center, it also has a great "ruta de tapas", usually in February. We have visited specifically to enjoy the tapas at the great little bars in town many times.
This was the best equipped self catering flat we have ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean, the rooms were bright and spacious and we immediately felt comfortable and relaxed.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful and were quick to respond to messages.
We found the location ideal for visiting Jaen and Ubeda, as well as being very close to the historic centre of Baeza. Baeza has a lovely intimate feel.
This flat has everything you could need and really was a home from home.
It is such a beautifully decorated house with lovely pictures and ornaments. I loved the marble floors, marble staircase and marble en suite bathroom with a large corner bath. It has a tranquil garden, full of plants.
The location is perfect, on a quiet street with the most incredible view of the mountains from the end of the road. The house is very close to all
the historical places of interest in Baeza, but is also a good base for visiting other towns such as Ubeda and Jaen.
We would book it again if going back to Baeza. Really we liked many things:
- Excellent communication with the host.
- The cleanliness and the comfort of the bed.
- The large bathroom.
- Excellent location in the historical center of Baeza. Park your car close to puerta de Jaen, and forget about it while being in Baeza.
- Very nice details to make guest's life easier when arriving: bottle of water, milk, coffee, oil, salt, shower gel, iron, tampons and sanitary towels...
Great location near most attractions in the city. No parking in the hotel but free parking right outside. The pool was great, the room size perfect, everything was clean. The coffee machine in the room was a great add-on and the breakfast was delicious. Fantastic place to visit Baeza and the surrounding area, like Ubeda and Sabiote.
The staff was also nice and helpful, I highly recommend Hotel Carmen.
Exceptional value for money in a beautiful, historic building.
Hotel located in midst of all historic sites.
Room was large and luxurious with roll-top bath, separate shower and bidet, hair dryer & straighteners and top-quality body products.
Staff were very friendly and informative.
Buffet breakfast was superb.
Baeza is a hidden jewel, and so is Hotel Baeza Monumental. I needed peace and quiet for a restful night and I got it. In a quiet side street right by the casco antiguo, it is also but a few steps away to a great morning and evening walk on the “murallas “. Lovely staff.
I shall return.
Wonderful hotel with great staff. I had issues with the wifi which I needed to work and they went the extra mile to make sure that I could work from their hotel. The hotel is situated in a lovely town, there is always something to explore or just enjoy a walk.
A lovely little apartment on the edge of the old town that suited our one night stay in the area. The host was friendly and helpful and there was free parking fairly nearby. Baeza is a gorgeous city with great views and a lovely old town.
Elegant hotel just outside of town (walking distance) with excellent views of orchards and the valley below. Very good breakfast, free parking with overflow across the street.
The father who owned the restaurant was super helpful. We didn't really meet any hotel personnel. The restaurant was great too. Fantastic location, close by street parking.
We booked on short notice and got a double room for a really good price. Perfect location, delicious breakfast buffet. Spacious room. Definitely recommend this hotel
Excellent location right in the old town. Free public parking 5 min walk. It was OK to park outside the hotel for a couple of minutes to drop off/pick up cases.
We liked the location of the hotel as it was not necessary to go off our route. Large carpark. Staff were friendly. Popular reasonably priced bar/restaurant.
