We absolutely loved the Barn Cottage. Shelia was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us a little run through. We felt that the communication was clear and friendly. Great location, right next to bus stops ( No.5 to Bath City Centre) was frequent and easy to use. There was a 2 min walk to nearby M&S food hall, a McDonald's, and Lidl was 7 mins away. Served as a great comfortable base away from the busy city centre. It was a beautiful stay and honestly I would recommend it to all! Very cosy & warm - the rainfall shower was a hit! Blankets and extra pillows were spot on too. Thank you Shelia!!

Stay in a converted barn within walking distance of the city of Bath, within a quiet residential area. Renovated recently by a local architect, this two bedroom house is a stylish, comfortable and spacious getaway. Enjoy a drink by the fire pit in the private and enclosed patio, or relax indoors by the wood burning stove after a day out in Bath. You will be able to enjoy the whole house to yourself. A well equipped home set over two floors. On Ground Floor we have a kitchen and dining area, separate large living room with wood burning stove, utility room and separate room with a seating desk. On First Floor, we have two bedrooms - one with a Double bed and one with two Single beds, and a shower room. Externally, we have two patios - a seating area with fold out table and fire pit, and a storage patio with shed.
I am originally from Argentina, but have lived in Scotland, Canada and now in Bath, England. I love hosting, making people feel welcome and at home, meeting new people and sharing the best bits about the area. I love dancing (tango) and all things arty. My husband and I love travelling and trying the local food and immerse ourselves into new cultures. We love going for walks with our pup!
The house is in a great location, with lots of amenities near by such as Marks & Spencer's Foodhall, Lidl and Morrisons within only a few minutes walk. Our favourite local is the Locksbrook Inn which has a great beer garden and faces the canal - beautiful on a sunny day! The local bakers, Bakers of Bath, are a great local traditional bakers with lots of wonderful treats. Basil's Bakery is also right next to the Locksbrook Inn, and it has some great baked goods. Walking We are within a 10minute walk from Oldfield Park Train Station, 25minute walk from the City Centre, and only a few minutes walk from M&S foodhall, McDonalds, and just a little further to Lidl Bus A 15 minute bus journey on the no. 5 bus gets you into the city centre and Bath Spa Train Station Train There are two train stations in Bath. Bath Spa Train Station and Oldfield Park Train Stations. Our nearest is Oldfield Park and it gets you into Bristol in 10minutes Driving We have an allocated parking space for 1 car only. Unfortunately there are no further spaces on the street; any other cars will need to be parked on the high street, which is free to park. We are only a 10 minute drive from the city centre, but it can be expensive to park and find parking in the city centre. A 20-30minute drive will get you into Bristol.
