Always a favourite. Excellent in every way.
Always a favourite. Excellent in every way. Plenty to look at, good descriptions and there is plenty of additions to help you immerse yourself in the Roman world. Staff very friendly and helpful. BOOK BEFORE YOU GO or you may not get in on the day. Whilst waiting, pop into the Cathedral or explore the local cafés, shops and the excellent bookshop just round the corner.

Nice historic site, I came here when I was very young so it was nice to revisit. It does not seem as green as it used to the water. Also they do not sell the water anymore in the shops, I still have a bottle from last time I came!

I was worried that I would have problems getting around to...
I was worried that I would have problems getting around to see the Roman Baths, as I have mobility problems. The Roman Baths are very accessible for people with mobility problems/wheel chair users. Also wheelchair and portable seats can be borrowed from the Roman Baths. Also I noticed a quiet room, for anyone who finds certain spaces overselling. Everyone is provided with a digital sound tour device, which is very helpful and available in other languages. :-)

cannot buy a ticket anywhere except by phone. our phone was flat battery from touring and charging back in the car. so travelled 12,000 klm from Australia to see roman baths and could not go in. nobody could help us either.

Worth a trip to see the history and hear how these baths...
Worth a trip to see the history and hear how these baths were created and are now maintained. An interesting vocal commentary you can pick yourself as you go around. Anywhere from 40 mins to 2hrs depending on how much time you have. Easy to walk to like most places in Bath.

Amazing visit and phenomenal staff. The Roman Baths were exceptional, one experience I won't forget, the history behind the making of the baths is so impressive but to see it is worth the entire trip of a lifetime! Recommended for sure

The hotel is excellently positioned close to the Roman baths and the Thermae bath complex. The walk from the train station was short and went through an area of nice shops. The room was small but adequate on the third floor. There is a separate entrance from the street. The attached pub was great and had good beer. The breakfast was great.

Beautiful, unique decor in an historic building close to gardens and shopping as well as sites like the Roman baths. Helpful staff, and concierge as well.
The room was gorgeous- claw foot tub and separate rainfall shower. Fragrant toiletries, great bar (Benedict is awesome!) delicious food and outdoor area for dining. The scenery around the hotel is exceptional too.

The location was really good, it was super close to the Roman Baths and several places to eat as well. It was only a 6 minute walk from the train/bus station, which was handy to not have to roam around with heavy luggage for a long time. I liked the kitchen that had plenty of utensils and the labels for the fridge as well. The hostel offers free coffee and tea, and they also made cake when we were there. The common rooms are also a big plus.

Gorgeous apartment and we loved the little extras like a Nespresso machine and pods, dishwasher and tablets provided along with salt, pepper, oil and washing up liquid! It was very clean throughout.
Amazing view from the roof although was a bit windy up there. Hot tub was great. Location is excellent, a 5 minute walk to the Roman baths and surrounded by all the bars, shops and restaurants you could wish for! We should have stayed longer!!

Check-in was super speedy, which I really appreciated. The hotel has a great location - just a short walk to Pulteney Bridge and the Roman Baths. The decor is wonderful and the rooms look fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would recommend for a short city break.

Attentive, caring, professional and efficient staff; beautiful architecture outside and lovely interior design details throughout; updated rooms with all the modern conveniences; amazingly comfortable bed; generously sized bathroom; everything was spotless; hearty and tasty breakfast (à la carte or from the buffet, as you wish); and a great location bang in the historic core of the city, near to the Roman baths, the Cathedral, historic residential crescents, and first-rate restaurants. Clean and comfortable hotel with very nice and attentive staff. The hot breakfast was great. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the Roman baths, which makes for a nice stroll along the streets and shops.

The apartment was perfectly suited for my large-ish family of six. It truly is well-appointed and furnished with two bedrooms and a full kitchen, dining room, and sitting room. The apartment was clean upon arrival, and its location just a ten or so minute walk from the Roman Baths and the city center make it convenient to see the sights. The property manager was very communicative and easy to work with. I highly recommend this for a family stay in Bath!

Cute and sophisticated boutique hotel in the town center of Bath only a few minutes from the Roman Baths. Staff was kind enough to upgrade my room to a higher floor due to a wild and noisy birthday party spilling into the hallway of my original room. The area of town is a little noisy, but the hotel provides ear plugs. Breakfast is home cooked but sophisticated. Rooms have a very romantic feel and allow for a very comfortable stay. The reception and cleaning staff are very friendly and care about their guests’ experience.
