Neighborhood info

Portsmouth is located on the south coast and has a wealth of history and a visit to The Historic Dockyard is a must during your stay. There is fabulous outlet shopping at GunWharf Quays plus a wealth of excellent bars and eateries as well as a cinema and bowling alley. There are lovely walks located to the rear of the house along the eastern shore and a cycle route to The Thatched House, a popular local pub. The Bombay Bay is a lovely local restaurant with outside seating overlooking the water to Hayling Island. The promenade along Southsea seafront is a lovely place to visit with beautiful views across the water. The hovercraft across to the Isle of Wight is a fun family day out to visit Osbourne House and the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary.
