Very quite we made our own food all we needed was there just had to buy a few bit for lunch and supper. We enjoy the quiet of the area Linda was very friendly and welcoming explain where we could find all what we may be interested in boing.

Pet Friendly, please be mindful all pets are welcome not just dogs, as I have a cat and a previous guest on the same day may have had one with use of house and garden if allergic to cats etc. then do not book. Relaxing Retreat, Quiet cul-de-sac in Alvaston - off road parking. South Facing Patio/small enclosed secure Garden, direct access to Field. Drive (4mins) or walk to Elvaston Castle & Country Park. Short drive to River Pubs & Restaurants in Shardlow & only eight miles to Melbourne. HD/TV/Netflix/Sky. House is all Electric, use of all appliances Ninja, dishwasher, etc. quality Bedding/Linen. Short walk to local amenities & East Midlands 'Skylink 24/7' No additional charges.
I generally greet all the guests in person, if not then I inform them how to locate a key. I show them around the house and how everything works to establish if they are happy before departing and leaving them in peace to enjoy the entire house. Guests on departure just need to lock the door and post the keys back through the letter box.
Alvaston giving access to A52 & M1. Local Amenties include Post Office, Library, Pubs & Take Aways, Tesco etc. Pet Friendly, enclosed Patio Courtyard with direct Gate Access to adjoining field. 24 hour Skylink Service includes East Midlands Airport and surrounding villages. Bus Service to Derby. Short Distance to Elvaston Country Park approx. 4 mins. drive but can also cut through as within walking distance. Melbourne only 8 miles away. Shardlow only a short drive with its river setting 'Clock Warehouse' on the right, turning left just before Marina leads to the Malt Shovel & New Inn, pubs with dine-in. Quiet cul-de-sac but convenient links either by Car or public transport to many Derbyshire attractions. Off road shared parking - vertical parking for two cars. Bus stop for Derby at the end of the road. Short walk to 'Skylink 24/7' service to Donnington Park, East Midlands Airport and surrounding villages in the area. Alvaston amenities nearby.
